Team Sport Birmingham Staff – Nothing short of fantastic, every time we go, they always go above and beyond to help make the experience unforgettable, the staff at the Birmingham facilities are the reason we go back, and have done so for years. Whenever I’ve encountered any problem specifically ridiculous drivers the team has always gone out of their way to make the most enjoyable experience. I cannot praise them enough; Jon, Nelson, Aims, and Denise of TeamSport Birmingham.
My friend and I went there 5th of July and I can’t quite pick out the vibe.The 2 ladies at the reception-one lady with black hair on glasses was still better :She tried to be clear with her explanation was nicer ,but the other one I think she her hair color was blonde.She was just behaving like we came to get her services for free ,not friendly at all.The activity is too expensive for such a poor customer service. The race suits were stinky and worn out.I have never driven anything with wheels before because of this I performed really badly on the arena but ,the guys there were still friendly-I felt like they were frustrated with me constantly getting stuck but they kept their cool and tried to encourage me.Experience was bitter sweet,at least my friend enjoyed herself on the arena.I only enjoyed the laser game.
It was fun on the track, but there was people within the group not in my party not obeying by the rules, so only did 1 full lap of the track without a stop, constant stopping. i felt a lot of them should of been black flagged much earlier on in the session as it did diminish the experience for my self and the people we brought. Would love to come and do it again but hesitant due to the above. staff were nice.
Fab day out! Reception told us about the Grand Prix upgrade as we were a large group which we went for, meaning it was just us on track. We even got a ceremony at the end with trophies. Friendly staff, nice big viewing area for those not taking part and a really great track!
Brilliant place and great fun for everyone who is into cars and racing. A thorough presentation was given prior to going on the track. You have to buy gloves and balaclava separately; so would suggest to bring your own if you remember. The track is quite big and has a good run to it. Consists of good turn, ramp, and straight line. All the marshals and staff are always polite and a great laugh. The canteen is also a nice shout if you're waiting around; to grab a small bite.
An haven for adrenaline junkies. Great start to a racing career for kids who are keen on that. Health and safety is at a very decent level as proper briefing was done before we got in the racing circuit which made it a bit slow to get in but all round great experience. Recommended
It was fun shame it's only for 2 twenty minutes out on the track .
Absolute bunch of cowboys… 4 x 15 years waiting at my house to go yesterday, get a phone call literally 5 minutes before we were about to head off telling me they’ve cancelled my slot because of ‘condensation’ … no real concern or alternative offered, waiting now ‘14 working days’ for a refund despite having to pay out to the rival karting company in Halesowen who were brilliant by the way… called Teamworks, cost me a fortune to keep the 15 year olds amused until the later slot at Halesowen bowling etc but at least my sons birthday wasn’t ruined. Strange how the Halesowen Teamworks karting company were able to resolve the condensation issue when they aren’t far away. DO NOT RISK IT if it’s a special day you’re there for, use team works…Fully expect a fight to get my refund of about £160!! As the feeling after just called them ‘it’s passed to our customer service team’ who on earth are these people ?? An international bank ! I smell a fob off! I repeat, do not risk it…. My closest indoor track. Used regluar. Great track but always felt it could do better. Staffing is the main issue. I can now compare with teamsport Warrington where they seem to be able to police the sessions much better and actually penalise people who are causing problems. That being said this is still a track I use and will continue too. Just sometimes there's too many incompetent people track so you spend most your on track time under yellows... the odd visit you get a good bunch a people and you have a great time
Really good track however, there were no screens to show who was up next and there was a really long delay from the session we had booked. When we did get on track it was mostly OK classic public session shenanigans but enjoyed the track and the drive.
