Don't bother using this business their customer focus is rubbish!..let me explain why... I phoned to place an order for a party. A woman named Kim dealt with the initial call. As any customer who hasn't ordered before you would expect some information as to how to order and what was available including prices. Kim gave no information, was completely impatient and kept asking what i wanted....having had a very broken conversation, I placed an order for 1 large slab of corned beef, 5 steak pies and 3 mince, 4 dozens catering buns. I felt completely confused and quiet annoyed that id been talked to in a sarcastic, patronizing and inpatient way by a person who clearly couldn't be bothered and they ended the phone call. having realized I hadn't even been given a price, or how to collect it or if the order is to be delivered or how i would pay for the items order, I called back. spoke to Kim again...she then turned around and told me she didn't have time and was finished work and that id have to call back tomorrow to get a price! i checked the website and they didn't close until 15.00 hrs and the call was at 13.32 so again...Kim couldn't be bothered at all. I said fine I'll call back tomorrow.... the day moves on and tomorrow comes...I'm in a meeting and have a missed call and a voicemail left which i pick up after the meeting...the voicemail asked me to contact to make payment for the order....so I called back...I didn't get the name of the person I spoke too but informed them I had an order and wanted to make the payment...they said o.k....and fell silent..............i said hello?...can i make a payment?......she said you need come in.....i said "i cant make the payment over the phone?"....she said "no"....and fell silent again........i said "so you only take cash"...she said "yes, we're only a small business".... she was stroppy and impatient just like her work colleague and informed me that if payment was made before 12 o'clock that the order wouldn't be fulfilled as she's finishing work. I'm left amazed by this and asked why she was being sarcastic, patronizing and inpatient, she replied I'm not...and this information should have been given to you yesterday...i said that I hadn't had any information at all....on how much it was costing, nor how it was getting delivered or if i had to pick it up or anything...she said you wanting it delivered...i said yes if possible and hummed and harred again, then she asked my name, which I gave and she fell silent and could hear her fumbling about in the background, finally to tell me that my order was going to cost me £61.52, to which she added "well i leave within the hour"! I said I'll try and get someone up to pay...with no break down of what the cost was and seemed well steep for what i ordered! I spoke with my partner and informed her of the shocking customer service i had received again from Taylor's (for the second time) and said they don't deserve my money! we agreed not continue with the order and will go elsewhere so I phoned Taylor's back and spoke to customer services, the person i spoke to was friendly, to which I informed them that i just had a uncomfortable conversation with an impatient, patronizing member of the team ,to which she responded that it was herself that I had spoken to that she was didn't mean to be patronizing and was frustrated with the lack of information that her colleague Kim had given me....i said that's all fine and well but all the attitude was directed to me 'the customer' and I was completely dissatisfied with the overall experience and asked her to cancel the order. she said o.k. that's no problem. I also informed her that my family had run a newsagent for 18 years and used to deal with Taylor some 15 years ago on a day to day basis and for all that time had never had such a poor customer experience. She sarcastically said well she's worked there for 30 years!....i told here where the shop was, she knew the store....and said I will never deal with Taylor's again.

Had been highly recommended. First issue was that they couldn't give me a proper size of corned beef sheet. Turns out they're 4 x A4 trays. Were told their plate pies were a normal dinner plate size?? All these issues could've been resolved by just having a range of trays available to see. A minor issue- Delivery would be between 8-8.30 on sat morning. Phone call at 7.45 the driver was parked up on a Rd nearby. So rushed to get ready and go meet him. Explained we were told the time, to which he replied the office staff knew he fineshes by 8 on a saturday. Then the ham n egg pie was too salty. Mince pies too salty, Steak pies too salty. Corned beef pie nice. Got to admit the buns were beautiful. Just a shame everything about everything else. Problem with ordering food is it's always too late when you find out it's not great. Yeah might be a one off, but the one off was our party.

Abysmal service, order cancelled, wont be using again...do yourself a favour and find an alternative!
