Very impressed. Has not used this company before as just visiting Southampton. Nor has I used an automated taxi booking service. But it was smooth+ seamless. Received an immediate confirmation text with details of car being sent out to us. It duly arrived, was easy to spot as they had provide car make,colour+ reg number. Very helpful and polite driver. Will use again when next in area.
Online booking easy to use. Taxi arrived at pick-up location in plenty of time & was clean & spacious enough for size of party. Driver was very friendly & efficient. Overall, Radio Taxis provided an excellent service & I will certainly use them again when in Southampton. I highly recommend them to others.
Very happy with service. Initially couldn’t book over the phone for a late pickup on a Friday night but booked online and confirmed on the day and all worked well. It would have been helpful to have had a text alert to say the driver was on the way but as two girls on our own, on a cold night, we were happy the driver arrived on time with no issues. Thanks
Booked a taxi the night before via their app to take me to the train station in the morning, with pick up booked for 6:45. The pick up was confirmed on the app. 6:45 come around, no taxi! Called Radio taxis to see how long it was going to be there to find that it hadn’t even been allocated to a driver! I couldn’t wait around on the hope that they would decide to turn up so I had to call a family member and beg them for a lift. Terrible service, no attempt to let me know they went going to make it and no apology when I called. Why confirm my pick up when you couldn’t make it??? Will not be using Radio taxis again.
Absolutely awful , even worse since pairing with West quay cars too. Doesn't matter what time of the day you call to book a cab they're always "too busy" particularly when you want a pick up that isn't city centre , if you call hours before your journey they can't guarantee that it will be there on time and advise to book 45min earlier than you need it. Some of the operators are rude as hell use uber people more reliable and cheaper anyway
Arrived at Southampton Airport and ordered s taxi using this companies kiosk within the airport. Was told it was a 35 min wait. An hour later I called to get updated Eta. Only to find out they had no record of the booking. Extremely unprofessional, rude obnoxious customer service rep.... I Was told would need to wait another 35 mins. STICK IT WHERE THE SUN DON'T SHINE BUDDY....... UBER!!!
Not inpressed By the taxi driver I had the other day. Was really ignorant and just ignored me when I tried to make conversation. No hi or goodbye. I said thanks and no reply and has they drove off there was wheelspin and they were very reckless driving down the road. Won't use again. Southampton one is much better
BEWARE! Appalling service. Booked 2 early evening taxis weeks in advance. One arrived 15 mins late, the other didn't arrive at all and I was forced to change my plans and drive myself. Totally unreliable company and driver on return journey was rude. Will never use them again.
I did not catch the name of the gentlemen who helped me but he got me a taxi from 30 Channel Way to the Train Station at around 13:15pm on 01/11/2022. He has so kind, sweet and professional. If the company could let me know who I spoke with I would love to give him my thanks and let him know how lovely he was.
The online booking system is clever and easy but it doesn’t ask how many passengers are to be carried so I rang. Very courteous. There were 5 of us, they sent an MPV, it was clean, on time, well driven and reasonably priced. What more do you need?
