What a great Thai grocery store! You can find literally everything Thai cuisine related, and also the OG Thai acne powder! Not to mention freshly cooked Thai meal and desserts. It’s worth visiting if you’re in the area.
I've been here many times thirty years ago. Now the store has more variety of goods and products from Thailand at reasonable prices. Good to visit for oriental stuff.
You can find everything for Thai cuisine here. Fresh Thai herb and vegetable usually comes in Tuesday.
Popped in to buy some ingredients for a Thai dinner which I spent at least half an hour going through to make sure I had the right things for my recipe. When I got to the counter the chap behind it was not welcoming and told me off for picking up the items to bag as I somehow confused him. This already annoyed me. And I had to bag them myself.. He didn’t even offer. There was a problem with my card and I decided I was not going to buy at this point so I didn’t bother using another one. Yet he thought I could not afford these groceries. I took offense and walked out. Clearly he is not use to being in London.. Customer service? Non existent. I won’t be going back here. It doesn’t take a lot to be kind in this world, especially if you want to maintain good business relationships.
Can't complain about the food and drink we had in here. Steak was perfect. Great value for money
Good little South East Asian supermarket, mainly products are from Thailand they have very good imported fresh Thai curry pastes in the fridge section along with fresh vegetables from Thailand that are very hard to find in the UK. Staff aren't always the friendliest, but will assist you if you ask. The cooked food counter is a real gem, very authentic.
Horrible place to buy your frozen dim sum ! Spent £30 for prawn & chive, black bean spare ribs and Siew mai. They were all old stock and it was horrible after I steamed them to have them for lunch. Don’t buy their frozen dim sum! It’s too old stock. Had to throw it all out !
Great Asian supermarket with many of the products that even inexperienced wannabe cooks like me can use to make great tasting asian food. There is a lot to try. Prices were very reasonable. Tofu was a great price as well as the muchroom selection. I went in for wanton wraps and left with a bag full of bits. I will definitely be back.
The durian i bought from this shop are awesome, they are fresh and tasty, the barcode shows they were imported from Thailand, such a great quality definitely love!
Decently stocked, well has the items we want. We are typical oriental family which uses pan oriental ingredients daily. A tad expensive compared to the larger Chinese Supermarkets, but expected as a local store. The fresh items are well restocked weekly, but of course would recommend picking the one you visually prefer. Good friendly store.
