Really enjoyed the day out. Would definitely visit again. Wildlife roaming free. Perfect for long walks/ jogging/ cycling. The grounds are well maintained. There are also some fantastic views of the grounds. Entry to the car park was 9.50. We paid extra for access to the Japanese inspired garden which was beautiful and the Mansion which came to £14 per person.
A nice walk around the park but you have to pay £8 for the park entry. National Trust members get entry to the Mansion and the gardens. Mansion is well kept and can be busy if the there is a wedding or some special event. The gardens are well looked after despite the heat. The farm is a separate entry fee to go in though.
A wonderful place to spend and afternoon. It does cost £8 per car to get in to the park. There's a large easily accessible carpark which is close to the entrance. All the essentials are layout in the courtyard with restaurant, toilets, shop etc. The gardens are large and have so much variety including a brilliant Japanese and Italian garden. There are no toilets in the garden so make sure you go before going in.
Large area, beautiful accessible gardens with mobility scooters available. Only issue are 2 steps by the house, fern house and rose garden are not accessible with these. There are disabled parking spots in the main car park from which a tractor train can ferry you to the farm. Bikes are also available to hire in the stable court yard by the toilets and carousel. Only given 3 stars as it is not fully funded by National Trust. Carparking is extra and we had a NT free entry voucher but this was not accepted here. £8 to access gardens. Park has deer, lakes, birds a farm along with the house and gardens. Lovely day out for all the family but expensive. Restrooms: There are ladies, gents and disabled toilet entries. There was a warning about low water pressure and slow filling toilets but did not notice it as a problem. Toilets were clean and sufficient water, toilet roll, soap and working dryers were seen. Air Dryers could be better but seen worse and toilet cisterns are the old Victorian style.
Absolutely stunning gardens and plenty of them Free for national trust or £9 or so if not woodland walks and lots of space to roam in general, decent play area for the young ens and large car park £9.50 nice cafe and plenty of seating so pretty good all round
I absolutely love Tatton Park. The last visit was for the One Snowy Night trail in the garden. It was so well put together and absolutely great for the kids. Definitely one to head out for!
A brilliant day at Tatton park flower show. What a breath of fresh air to do something normal and meet family . Very well organized event plenty of seating areas I preferred the country living stalls outside rather than in the marquee . Just a lovely day.
A large estate with plenty to do, especially for families. The house is of interest and the gardens are pleasant. Standard NT cafe setups and access. Only negative, is the £8 charge for parking. The charge regardless of membership, is quite scandalous really. A lesser figure would be acceptable.
We recently had our first visit here, the play park was good although a little run down in places, Fairground rides were a great addition and kids loved them. The gardens itself were quite spectacular, it was well worth paying £1 each for the children's trail, our girls loved it. We would definitely return.
Brilliant day out here on the bikes. Free entry on cycles, good quality food at the stables loads for the kids to do. Train rides, carousel, trails, deer and sheep wandering around extremely close by. Big beauty spot with extras would highly recommend.
