Amazing gift shop! So much for all ages too. They have great prints and so many small items of art that you can buy. They have a very good selection of books. Some books are about the art in the museum some are about creating art as well. There is a section for kids as well in the back. If you are looking for souvenirs then this is a good place to go!
probably one of my favourite museum shops ever! they have a really cool selection of merchandise, ranging from art prints to tshirts to magazines and books. definitely worth checking out during your visit to the tate, even if you're just there to window-shop like I was ;
A lot of unique accessories, books, clothes and many more
THEY DO NOT GIFT WRAP. I actually really like this shop and they have a great selection of carefully curated and beautiful things to choose from. However, almost nothing is unique and you can get pretty much everything at 20-40% discount elsewhere. To shop there is to pay a premium for the experience which I don’t mind since it would go toward supporting the Tate. However, when they told me they do not gift wrap, I was quite surprised and to be honest very disappointed. To have a piece of Tate brought home to my family and to tell them all about the strange and wonderful art within would have been something special. Without the gift wrapping to differentiated, whatever I would have brought I might as well have bought them on Amazon and save the luggage space and money.
This store won't come out of my head. So many amazing books, and other very cool gifts. I'd return every time I'm in London.
Definitely a must-shop for art and culture lovers. Wonderfully curated, you'll find gifts for everyone on your list here. Some items are seasonal like holiday decor but this gift shop is fantastic year-round. Sad you missed a past exhibition? Ask if they have any stock! The representatives who work there are always helpful. Even the iconic Tate-branded selections are well done. First-class museum shop, and in my top 5 museum shops across the globe.
Was in the shop at 8 minutes to six.my three kids were trying to choose key rings. We was told to leave and that the shop was closed. As we left a person rushed up and said… please let me just buy something quickly! And they let them in to buy. My kids were crying and the staff had no compassion whatsoever!! Absolute joke! The staff need teaching some basic manners! 24/09/22
I donated almost all my coins to the museum. Than I realized that we needed a 1 pound coin for the lockers. I asked at the gift shop to change my last 2 pound coin into 2 1 pound coins. The told me to buy something to get a 1 pound coin. Thats not a good customer service, sorry
Nice museum shop. Excellent branded merchandise at somewhat high prices. You can't miss it when you leave.
I would like to have an opinion about the shop but the truth is I tried to visit it fifteen minutes before closing time and they didn't allow me to go in because door was closed and they said they were already closing. 15 minutes before the schedule! I give a star because I can't give none.
