First time here whilst stayingin the area. We are Indian Cuisine connoseurs. We tried Delivery and eat in. Both good service and excellent food. Particularly Pathia and Prawn Masala. Super Friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.
I’m not usually a fan of buffets as the quality of food is usually poor but nonetheless I wanted to give Taste of India a try. We made a booking for a Sunday buffet at lunch time. Upon arrival the restaurant was quiet, however we were greeted by the new owner and a waiter with a smile. The price is very good value for money and the quality of food was great. Highly recommend the Sunday buffet!
Stopped by for a collection, they had vegan options which were delicious. I had the two different vegetable biryanis, which they were happy to customise and take certain veggies out of and I ordered few other dishes which were also great. It was delicious, and great portions, nice staff. I'll definitely be back! I love to try different veggie biryanis from different places and often find them not right or too bland or just doesn't hit the spot. These guys had it perfect. Thanks! Vegetarian options: Seemed to have a good variety of vegan and vegetarian dishes.

Amazing Indian buffet. Friendly staff, freshly cooked food which was perfectly seasoned. You can tell that the place is clean and looked after. The staff makes You feel comfortable and for the price You pay You have more than You could ask for. If You are there try the non alcoholic cocktails, super tasty. Highly recommended.
I appreciate it was last order of the day last Friday but one of the meal came with different sauce and it was not well cooked at all , the sauce was also very watery. We order regularly there and quiet often we have got wrong orders but we get on with it as usually it is very delicious. This isnt the case anymore as the quality has gone down drastically. We have been using them for over one year but will not do so anymore. Also the new person at the front keeps telling me their card machine doesnt work while i know they dont want to get card payments and I have previously paid directly to their bank accounts. It is just not being straightforward with the customer while the quality has gone down is what got me to look elsewhere.
Went here yesterday for a meal. Have no idea how they've got such a rating on Google. If you know anything about good Indian food. Stay away! Ordered starters. No prob they we're average. Ordered a mixed grill again not far from average but edible. Now to the climax...ordered 2 mains chicken makhani and chicken madras. The madras had zero spice and no where near what its supposed to be...the makhani was same thing as madras only stupidly sweet. Now to the best part, ordered 4 naans to go with it which were super sweet also...when questioned over the food their answer was its catered for the white folks and if you want Indian style you have to specify when you order...why would I come to an 'indian restaurant' to specify I want indian food. What a joke. To the point we didn't want any food takeaway and just wanted to pay and get out and one of the staff was trying to guilt trip us saying its gona go wasted so better to take it. What ever happened to the customers choice? Also for reference out there, I know plenty of white folks that know what a good curry is and are fully capable of handling indian spices. Please stop fooling even the white folks coming to your restaurant saying its an indian restaurant. For any that want good indian food go to Mr India or even better travel to Southall or somewhere for it.
very tasty , yummy indian authentic food
Had a bad experience last year. It was New year's eve and we ordered food for delivery early,about 6,not expecting to eat till about 8 due to the time of year- obviously we knew it would be busy. We're told an hour and a half,so fine,but almost 2 hours later no food. I called and was told within the next 20 minutes as the food had left. Half an hour later, still no food. Called again to be told the same- 20 minutes. Waited another half hour and called again, this time they had no knowledge of the order! Eventually they found my order details and said it would be delivered in an hour,but I cancelled it. It took a few days to organise a refund and when my partner called to see if it had gone through they were rude to her,asking if she thought they were trying to scam us. Never been back since
This place could be so much better if only they focused on the service they give their customers. Despite the fact it has recently fallen under new ownership and on the promise to improve by the new owner nothing has changed. They successfully deliver either forgotten or cold food every time without fail, it's unbelievable that they do not check food when it leaves. If the take away wasn't the closest we wouldn't have given it so many opportunities to improve. Despite these shortcomings the food is good, although the portion sizes have shrunk since the new ownership. If anything the place used to better.
