Love Tarantino's, been going to this branch and Brentwood branch for the last 7 years. Tasty food, friendly staff, lovely atomsphere, great value for money.
Turned up and they gave us a new starter to try which they had just introduced on the menu. Lovely touch. The staff were really good fun and attentive. We had the special-mussels for starter I do wish there was more sauce though and then I asked for a smaller portion of pasta, which they did. Really lovely dinner all round and great vibe. Families, couples and groups of friends in the restaurant. This will be our new Italian of the area. Main thing for me was that I wasn’t rushed so I had a full evening and all the staff were really good fun. We’ll be back x
This is only based on a bday dinner but will definitely be coming back with less of us. The restaurant was amazing. Lovely atmosphere, nice decor; definitely obvious it was more of a central northern Italian vibe. The food was overall brilliant apart from the main course which felt underwhelming. I did try the lamb shank from my husband's plate and wow! The staff were calm and collective considering it was a full house and were pulled left right and centre. Saw some pasta dishes from other tables which I will definitely be ordering. The portions looked massive which you don't see in most Italians. Thank you for looking after our party.
Everything about this place was amazing. The food was delicious. It was one of the best service I had ever received. Nice atmosphere and all the staff very attentive and friendly! Also the decor is absolutely beautiful so overall a perfect experience in Tarantino Hornchurch. I definitely recommend this restaurant
I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had the best pasta dish I have ever eaten at Tarantinos this evening. Absolutely amazing flavours and big portions that didn’t lack quality - very fairly priced too. I highly recommend this restaurant and can’t wait to return to try more dishes on the menu! Thank you.
First time at Taratino went for a meal with family for a birthday . Quite a few of us . Service great food excellent and atmosphere perfect. No hanging around waiting for our meals. Really lovely restaurant. Staff very polite really lovely evening. Will definitely returnFood: 5/5
I along with friends experienced extremely poor service throughout our visit, long waits for some of our main courses, dishes arriving at different times, the wrong drinks orders delivered to our table, food delivered without cutlery, which occurred several times, only partial drink orders delivered to table while other drinks sat on the bar, the waiters were unatentive & really not bothering to ask if we needed anything, after starting our experience there at 8.30pm we were still waiting for staff to deliver us a a sweat menu at 11.30 by which time the restaurant was virtually closed with only a handful of customers remaining, after looking for the manager for the menu we decided to give up on continuing our ordeal, on leaving I complained about the poor service to the manager who just laughed & agreed with me. Don’t go there
Great restaurant. Very friendly staff and excellent service. Deco is rustic with murals of Venice, so down to personal taste. The lunchtime set menu is exceptional value and a great selection of dishes. 2 course £16, 3 for £18. Most of the dishes are created for the menu but it includes all pizzas from the a la carte. The a la carte menu is average price for a very good Italian cuisine restaurant with a wide selection. Some of the dishes could be more authentic. Dish portions are good. Wine list is again typical, with approximately 4 wines for white/red/rossi. I tried 2 white wines and both were of good quality. Spirits and liqueurs selection is good with Limoncello and Grapa. Being on the High Street parking is not immediately available. However there is a good car park behind the shops with alleyways through and coming out in front of Sainsbury's Parking: Being on the High Street parking is not immediately available. Hello remo and Julian the waiter the food was the best meal I ever tasted in my life that was my first time there Peña pasta was so tasty garlic bread with cheese taste so amazing the chief was brilliant the best food was the best everFood: 5/5
Food I would say was above average for me anyway but everyone else in our party enjoyed the food. All came out together - party of about 15. Quite expenses if you ask me - no real kids menu so this place I would say isn't suitable for children under the age of 5. Service was good an friendly - not too busy on a Sunday lunch time. We noticed was quite cold while we was sitting there so we had to ask to turn the air con off which was done promptly. I thought the pizza dough was very hard - quite hard to even cut, desert was good. A few of us had steak with potato which was very good. Fish was also spoken highly off. Place has a warm feel to it and overall was pretty good. Service was very good. About 15 in party and bill just under £500 with drinks.
