Tapeo Café & Tapas is located at the center of Beckenham High Street. We are just 7 minute walk from Beckenham Junction Rail and Tram stations. The area gives you that village vibe whilst offering many exciting independent shops and restaurants alike. In Tapeo, every detail no matter how minute is essential, from the cozy space, inviting funky lights, comfortable seating to warm gracious service of our staff. Whilst what is served on the plate is the highlight we know that the experience should be more than just a cuisine. I visited Tapeo last night for a friend's birthday. By far, the best tapas restaurant in the whole of South London. Good portions, quick service and fair prices. 10/10 Food: 5/5

Well, to be honest, this is the most horrible food I have ever eaten in my entire life. The mashed potatoes were so disgusting because they weren't mashed potatoes at all. Bread with tomato, it doesn't have onion, and the pork ribs in barbecue sauce taste like Lidl, Octopus with mashed potatoes, please don't use smoked paprika!!! The food tastes a lot like galec, the mashed potatoes are poorly made, please do not prepare it in a blender, the brava sauce is not the real one, a lot of black pepper is super bad. The food is actually very bad.

First time coming here last night. The food was lovely. When booking, I never got told I only had the table for two hours. Was planning to make a night of it in there. All the food was lovely. The only two dispointing things were. I ordered chicken. You only got one skewer for 7.95. The only other thing was limited time on the table. Should have been told, apart from that everything and everyone was lovely that's why I left 5 stars. Xx

Nice experience, well done dishes and proportionate prices, if you are hungry you have to take 3 courses. The desserts are also good. The only thing I object to is the ice in the sangria, otherwise everything is ok.Food: 5/5
The servers were helpful and attentive. The atmosphere was nothing to be excited about but considering it was a Sunday it’s expected. The food was ridiculous, the calamari was bouncy and flavourless, the batter fell off before I could even eat it. The pulled lamb tasted and looked like canned beef from the shop, again bland and the texture was horrible. The olives and mocktails are pretty much the only thing that saved it. Waste of £35 for a small amount of food that tasted disgusting!
