Always thought this was the best Chinese but tonight my food was look warm and didnt get my sweet and sour sauce i got curry sauce instead so couldnt dip my chicken balls or pour over my Chinese
We usually order from golden sun which we have never had a problem with. But got food from here tonight it was bland, tasteless and was a waste of money. It was all cold. Even the kids didn't eat any of thier dinner and they love Chinese usually. But the worst thing was that we ordered duck pancakes...there was so many sharp broken bones inside the meat. Totally put us off. Was not nice at all
Really wish the guy that used to run this Chinese when it was Kim's was still there. The girl now doesn't have a clue. A year or so ago they refused to drive up our road because it snowed almost a week earlier. The snow had but almost thawed by this point. All other delivery drivers from take aways were able to get up our road. Just over a week ago, she was all ready to take our order until I said they'd have to take a different route about 10 mins extra as the road was closed. She then refused as it wasn't fair on the driver to drive 10 mins or to other customers whose food would go cold. I pointed out ours doesn't always arrive hot! She did suggest I could walk through the village to the point where their driver could drive up to. I should have asked if that would have removed the delivery charge!!! Absolutely diabolical customer service.
Never had a disappointing Chinese from here! Good price too. Little disappointed the chicken balls seem to have shrunk,but still tasty.
Ordered food Sauce was in bag where crushed or dropped Sliced chicken was missing Said they would get it out asap and re do the duck dish as apology Then never sent duck dish so waiting 2 hrs 20 from original order as you can imagine not good and food not in best condition. Shouldn’t say you will do something then not either Cannot recommend
My order was very quick it said 40 mins on my email and it was 10 mins the food was very nice and i would order again highly recomend this takeaway when i phoned up after i placed my order the person i spoke to was very helpful and polite the delivery driver was also very polite thank you very much
Ordered a kingprawn omelette would have expected some kinda veg in there such as onions peas or even mushroom. Omelette was luke warm and chips were stone cold.
Noticed prices increases, smaller portions in the plastic tubs, and food is luke warm. Under new management? Collected my order after a phone call, confirming back what I wanted before finishing the call. Discovered when I got home the order was wrong. Wanted A Pineapple fritter but got a prawn curry instead? Did call to complain. Noticed later on in the neal that the shrimp fried rice had what looked like a grey long thing coming out of the shrimp, a maggot maybe as I pulled it out and it was soft?. Some of the peas in the dish had black spots on them too - mould?. Already had one mouthful and realised what the issue was then. £34 meal was then bined. Was a frequent loyal customer but no longer. Not impressed. Things seemed have sadly changed of late.
Food has always been good apart from their chow mein that is quite bland but we have just ordered and noticed the prices have gone up along with the minimum amount for delivery which we went with but when the food turned up we noticed that they had also gone with smaller amounts too! Less chicken balls, only 2/3 of pot of curry sauce etc. Prices of things have gone up which we accept but to also do smaller amounts I feel is a bit of a p##s take.
Always loved the food from Fat Dragon but about a year go it started going downhill so we went else where. Tonight we decided to give it another go .... we’ll what can I say !!!! WOW ..... probably the best Chinese we’ve had in a long time. The food was spot on., very tasty, hot and not over cooked. Hats off to the chef. We will definitely be coming back again. Well done guys x
