I went to get my nails done here as studio 88 which is my normal nail shop was closed. I proceeded to ask for black French tip and asked if she could do it to which she responded yes no problem and when she had done my nails I was appalled by what she had done. This lady had hurt and cut all my cuticles to the point my fingers were bleeding for 3 days after and my fingers hurt as I moved them. I then proceeded to ask for the nails to be removed as I could not walk out the shop as the nails were terrible. I was met with the rudest response ever of that’s what you’ve asked for I also stated I wanted them longer when clearly in the photos that does not match what I asked for she then proceeded to tell me that I wasted her time of 2hrs. My reply was well if you couldn’t do the nails up to the standard I wanted them then why start my nails and destroy them. She then said I was to pay for the removal and that I was so annoying for wasting her time and that someone else should remove them. I showed another colleague what I wanted and what she did and that colleague told her she must remove them for free as it was unacceptable work. I left and hour later still with acrylic left on my nail with sore fingers and destroyed nails. Another European girl complained about the manicure she received as it looked dirty and was not what she wanted. About 30 mins after leaving I realised I left my ring in the shop as I had to take it off to soak my hands in acetone and I didn’t want to destroy it. I called the shop back and the rude shop attendant answered and said my ring is not her concern and that she doesn’t care. Let’s bear in mind I took full responsibility for leaving my ring and I understood that it was my own fault. She then proceeded to tell me if I wasn’t at the shop within 15 minutes my £80 ring would be thrown away and that it’s my problem she then proceeded to cut the call when I was speaking. All I will say to you reading this is I wouldn’t go here again for any service and whoover that girl is she should be fired. I will be going in to formally make a complaint about her and her disgusting disregard to customers. However if you want nails that are 10/10 studio 88 is the place to go top notch nails and they are the most polite people ever This is not to destroy the name and brand of the store but I would seriously take the next step in firing this girl as she is tarnishing your brand image and is not helping you at all. All of the other staff are lovely and polite and the hair service I cannot comment on as I have not had that service. Evidence is in the photos x
Great customer service, very welcoming, this is my first time in the city Birmingham I’ve been looking for a barbershop all day and I had found this great barbers. Absolutey amazing barbers they really do know how cut hair the right way! Looks like I’ll be travelling to Birmingham every week for a haircut. Again Thanks A lot Lads!

Been getting Cut by Sambarber for years never disappoints me! As black man with Afro hair I am very particular who I let cut my hair as my curly hair texture make it Abit difficult. But Sam always does a brilliant job and has been for years! Definitely would recommend to everyone all ages and races!
DO NOT RECOMMEND REALLY RUDE IMPOLITE AND UNPROFFESIONAL STAFF!!! Staff were really rude, talking a different language while with costumer to other workers l, felt uncomfortable as if I was being talked about. They were also giving me looks woch I didn't really like as well. I really really found myself in a really uncomfortable position as if I was being talked about horrible services and really rude staff. Really unprofessional. If you do want to enjoy your time as well as get a good treatment I certainly DO NOT recommend tandis. Will not be coming back here. DO NOT RECCOMEND
The hospitality and the customer service is excellent! The haircut made me look 10 years younger! Go and see Sam the surgeon! ‍
I recently visited a hair salon to trim my hair bangs, and I must say, I am completely dissatisfied with the outcome. The stylist, named Mahsa, clearly lacked the necessary expertise in this field. The haircut was so poorly done and unprofessional that no one would believe I paid for it. The bangs were completely uneven, even the chosen volume for bangs was not done properly and professionally, and the overall shape was far from what I had requested. As a result, I find myself frequently needing to pay to have my hair braided elsewhere.
I just had Eddie give me a second haircut, and he does amazing work! To ensure that you have the haircut you like, he ensures that the work is completed flawlessly and gives enough time. I would strongly suggest him!
5 stars 100% recommend this place for haircuts and perms the staff were very nice and have good communication with you and will offer beverages I personally recommend this place as Sam and the lady who’s name I’m unsure of were very friendly and did a great job on my taper and perm
I’ve had good experience here before but this week when I went in I had shoulder length hair and asked for some layers to be cut in but that no length was taken off. Came out with a mullet, all the length in the front was cut off and a totally uneven cut as you can see from the picture. Had to go to a different salon to get it recut
