I was officially diagnosed as autistic after receiving a mandatory vaccination from Tameside College. My mother is very upset. I can no longer feel my pelvic area and I would really appreciate a refund and possibly a voucher because of the dinner lady situation, she refused to call me they/them. Also Charlotte from Early years, you were so so out of line when you said I was lying about my Autism when you were the one who encouraged me to take the vaccine in the first place.
Management actively works against both teachers and students. As someone whos spent a significant amount of time and energy trying to deal with them for the betterment of good teachers and students, it will not change or improve. Even when i had genuine paper trail of misconduct, no action was taken to improve and i was ran around for multiple months only for no result to happen
I had the privilege of working with the college leaders, teachers and lecturers today, sharing the science of teaching and learning to help equip current expertise.nnFabulous classrooms, superb, hospitality and atmosphere; very reassuring to see the college invest in its staff, which will have huge benefits for the students who are attend there. Bravo!nn#GuideToMemory
Coming to College might not necessarily mean that you are going to be out of pocket. A range of financial assistance may be available throughout your studies.nnIf you are on a low income or are dependent on parents who are on a low income, the College can help you with the costs of attending College. The kind of assistance available to you will depend on your age and the type of course you are studying.
I'd tried Ashton Sixth Form and Clarendon before I went to Tameside. At Ashton, the tutors harassed students so much we stopped attending tutorials out of sheer anxiety. Then we got harassed for not attending tutorial when they could see we were attending our classes, so much so that some of us starting skipping them too. At Clarendon, our RS teacher was sacked and they got a temp in, who was giving me A's left right and centre until the real exams came and the entire class struggled to get above a D. Almost ruined my education, until I started my Access Course at Tameside. Josie, Naomi and Stephen were absolutely *incredible*. And the friendly environment created close friendships I still maintain today, years later. With their help and top-tier teaching, I aced my grades on a course that frankly prepares you much better for University than A-Levels do, and I'm now in my final year at the University of York and about to graduate in a few months - if it was down to the other local colleges, I wouldn't have gotten here! A huge, huge thank you to them
