Amazing food..well staffed and well looked after.
Once the stalwart of Indian fine dining, Tamasha has lost its edge. I fear this has more to do with post covid and the struggle to find experienced chefs capable of delivering the high standards diners once experienced and flocked to the restaurant for. It’s still acceptable but not at the upper end price point. I’m sure in time it will return to its rightful position as the undisputed Raj of Indian dining. Until then…..
One of the best Indian restaurants! I’ve been a customer for over 2 years and I’ve always been happy with their the food and the staff go the extra mile to make me and feel special on each visit! I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.
Nothing special to write about this place. Food was okay but the taste is a bit flavourless and food alone is not worth the price. The tables are a bit crowded and a lot waiting staff but you can hardly expect a smile from any of them. I think they are too professional for their own good and come out as not friendly. Vegetarian options available and free parking available. Nothing makes me to want to go again here.
The interior is exactly like that of an old fashioned club in Mumbai, according to my husband who is from India. Great food, lots of spice and beautiful presentation. A bit expensive for what it is, but I guess you come here for the overall experience
Good food. Good service. Good selection of wine at all price points. Tight portion size. Like the idea of separate bar area to the dinning room. Overall bit pricey.
We had a meal for four a few weeks ago. I had forgotten just how wonderful the food was at Tamasha. Every dish both starters and main was truly wonderful! We will be back soon
We have been going to Tamasha regularly every Valentine’s Day dinner precisely since 7 years. Yesterday, we decided to try their non veg thali and I absolutely loved it. It’s worth the price and the portions are good. I’m definitely not a thali person as I can never finish one but if you are near Bromley and looking to eat proper Indian food, please try tamasha, I promise you won’t be disappointed.
I went with my family and ordered few vegetarian dishes along with lacha paranthas. Now, if you have tasted the real authentic north Indian, you would rate the food as 1 out of 10. Paranthas were so thick, unchewable and pathetic. Dishes were bad. On top of it the service and staff was very rude. I went for a genuine Indian food experience based on the good reviews, what I got was a local Indian curry experience. Price was not the criteria as I knew it was expensive. Overall, I won't recommend it to my vegetarian friends and won't recommend based on the rudeness. There are better restaurants in Central London.
Stayed at the Hotel for 1 night and paid £60 for a single bed room without breakfast. Room was clean, only problem was the postage size wall mounted TV. Also ate at the restaurant and the food was great. Albeit very expensive for the food it was lovely and went down a treat. Service was great by the guys there and social distancing measures where in place. The only moan/groan as a Northerner was the highly over priced larger Cobra & Kingfisher £5 a pint for Cobra and around £6.75 a pint for Kingfisher or somewhere around there. They was both cold but flat, no gas or fizz to it, so disappointing really especially what was paid. All in all for 2 people to eat with drink 4 pints each was £131 for the meal. Will probably go for a take away somewhere else next time. But again the food was outstanding. Keema Naan was out of this world by the way
