Booked recreational skiing. Both people competent skiers but hadn’t done it for a year so understandably wanted to warm up to avoid injury. Was told by a rude ski-instructor on the slopes they have 5 minutes to go to the top and would be watched coming down. Slope was empty apart from two other young children. One of which was crying due to be shouted at by the ski-instructor. Tried to discuss politely to no avail so gave up. Initially refused refund, but after asking for senior management to discuss attitude of staff was given a refund. Won’t be back.
My 3 year old had her third lesson at the ski slope today and I couldn't recommend Jess enough. She was so good with my little girl who is very shy; she was really encouraging and energetic, just what you need to entice a 3yr old up the slope.Service: 5/5
Wouldn’t recommend the ski slope with kids too. The instructor made a 6 yr old cry and was verbally abusing me and my mum. She was horrible and all that we could see was a slug on her top lip so she needs to be fired asap. Many thanks Janet.
Big site with plenty of room to pitch a tent and loads to do. We particularly enjoyed the water activities and Mike his wife and team were so accommodating and helpful and made the paddle board and jet ski experience super cool. Will be returning!

We arrived after dark and couldn’t find the pitch as there is no lighting whatsoever. It made setting up really difficult. Even a small lamp next to the pitch number would have helped. We then asked to move pitches as the van next to us were so loud. The showers are a decent walk away from the main bank and felt grubby. They def hadn’t been cleaned for a while. The shower area had no sink so I had to switch between two different rooms. If the kids were with us it would have been a nightmare getting ready. The guest information / signs are also poor, even down to how you get out of the site. We had a good weekend but we wouldn’t return.
Road in is shocking certainly doesn't need speed humps, this is a good picture of the rest of the site, a bit run down and in need of some attention. Bar area outside is a nice place to have a drink and we didn't have any food but what we saw coming out looked good. Went and sat watching some boats on one of the lakes for a while but there was an awful smell so left. We have dealt with the people selling homes in the past and I would say be very, very careful and don't sign anything unless you are absolutely sure as there is no cooling off period and they are quite brutal in their attitude if you change your mind within 12 hours. Go home and sleep on it.
Had an excellent lunch at the Lakeside Bar and Restaurant. Great location. Relaxed atmosphere, great service and food at a value price.

Amazing facilities and lots of fun had. Very reasonable prices in the cafe hit also xx
