had higher expectations for a place with such a high rating. The lamb donner looks how it tastes, unpleasant. The lahmacun lacks meat, despite that being the whole concept of the dish. Rice is served under the meat so was hard to get to, but otherwise nice. We ended up paying close to £130 between 6 people and no alcoholic drinks but I don’t feel we experienced something worth the price point. Won’t be returning
Taksim platter for 2-3 people amazing flavours well seasoned and good quality meat. Rice is also flavourful. Service is attentive. I recommend! The largest platter is very decently priced which also includes startersFood: 5/5
BEST TURKISH RESTAURANT! My gosh where do I start... The open kitchen makes it clear that all the food is fresh, made to order and great quality. The service was warm and quick, it seems like the staff is a big family. The lentil soup was warming and delicious, the sigara borek was out of this world with the multiple flavours blending perfectly together. We enjoyed a shish kebab, such a generous portion I took it home and ate it again at lunch the day after. The chicken shish was also flavourful and moist, perfect with the side salads we ordered. They gifted us a Turkish tea with baklava for dessert and they were as nice as expected. Overall surprised at the good quality and perfect seasoning of the food, great price for what you get as the portions are huge. 5/5 I will be back! Vegetarian options: Great salads and dishes such as the sigara borek and the lentil soup.

Excellent. Ordered the platter for 4/5 people and drinks. Meat is good quality and the taste of the food is excellent. Make sure to have ribs! Price for the portion is excellent. Staff are very welcoming, and the restaurant is very clean. Worth the 10/15 minute walk from Greenwich.Food: 5/5
Amazing food and excellent customer service. This is my favourite Turkish restaurant due to how good the service and how tasty the food is. Never disappoints! If you’re thinking about coming here I wouldn’t think twice : Parking: Parking on the side roads or behind the restaurant location

Best Turkish food nearest Greenwich The quality of the meat and the charcoal technic cooking was just incredible. I recommend specially the ribs of lambs. Excellent Turkish - takeaway at front, restaurant at back. Staff all very friendly. It's taken on and beaten a well-established Turkish takeaway 50 metres away. Proof is that London's Emergency Service staff - police etc - are now regularly parked outside Taksim for their late night food. Highly recommended.
Amazing food, large portion sizes, and friendly customer service - can’t think of what more I could possibly want! The meats are fresh, you can tell they weren’t frozen when eating them. The seasoning on them is also top notch, and it was super hard to pick a favourite. The doner meat is so good I’ll have to come back for one of their doner wraps in future. Ask for extra chilli sauce, it’s amazing and I use it with a lot of stuff at home too. The Turkish coffee at the end of the meal also really hits the spot!!
