We had a meal at Taj on a Saturday night. We turned up early and was placed on a table. Five minutes later we were asked to wait back in the bar area, the man in charge of organising the seating was hardly apologetic and boardering on rude. We eventually got placed on another table but then had to wait for menus as there were not enough to go around. The restaurant was extremely busy and quite loud. The food was OK, the dish I ordered did not taste like it should have. We also had a sizzling dish which was placed on a cold plate and soon cooled down too quickly. The prices are on high side on the menu the prices are in a small font so you can hardly read them!. Probably won't go there again, I would rather try somewhere else.

Lovely food as always unfortunately our evening was taken over by the noise from a large party of several table's next to us. We couldn't speak to each other without some effort and with balloons popping it killed the atmosphere and experience. If we had been made aware of the party we would have had the choice to eat in or takeaway. The service was okay but I did feel rushed by the lady who cleared the plates away whilst we were still eating , reaching over and through the children. Not so good this time.

A wonderful evening very tasty food. Great ambience. Very friendly staff and efficient. I say one of the best curry houses I have been for a long time. Free Parking is a bonus.
I ordered an onion bhaji which was flat, not fresh and slightly burnt. Also a chicken dansak which it was definitely not. No lentils more like a patia too much tomato puree. One of the worst. Not be dining here again.
The best Indian in Dorset, hands down! Cannot fault this place at all, exceptional food, fabulous staff and a great contemporary design
Worst indian ive ever been to starters were cold and incorrect dishes were brought out not once were we asked if the food was okay Food was bland and and service was terrible
