Definitely one of the islands gems, a must try if you like your currys and its surprisingly as good as the currys you get on the mainland if not better, if I do say so myself. :Food: 5/5
I’ve been to India and had some amazing Indian food in my life. I certainly did not expect to have Indian food of this caliber on a small town in Islay of all places. Absolutely incredible food. Very fresh tasting, not too heavy, and with a proper spicy kick. Even the naan and paratha were great. The lamb biryani was among the best executed I’ve ever had. Usually lamb tends to be overcooked but here it was tender and flavorful. A well deserved 5/5

Saw an Indian Restaurant on the island and was excited to go eat the food. The restaurant completely ignored us and started catering to the others that came after us. Reading all the reviews, it’s definitely seems that the restaurant is partial and probably does not want the people closer to the food to know the junk they are making.
We got totally ignored by them while they attended to the white people who were there before us, and the white couple who came after us. I think it was because of the color of our skin. If you read the other reviews, you'll see them treating people of color badly. DO NOT RECOMMEND unless you're into that kind of thing.
Worst ever . Dude does not want to even talk to non white folk. We came to eat some Indian food … and can’t think of a reason why he ignored 4 of us and moved on . Probably he knows we might not appreciate his food as any version of authentic India n food ! Don’t recommend if you like any reasonable Indian food
Great food and very friendly staff. The inside of the restaurant is underwhelming, also to note that no alcoholic beverages are served. With that in mind, a great night out.
Absolutely HORRIBLE experience - really rude service!!! It’s like they don’t want Indian people to eat so people don’t want find out how bad the food is. I don’t know what their intention was but we were a group of people giving them business but they did not want it. Please only go to this place if you feel like getting insulted and humiliated!!

Excellent food, and extremely helpful when I said I was vegan. Really excellent, and a very pleasant surprise after other plans had fallen through.
