Worth the hype. This is an award-winning restaurant in Dundee. The fish and chips are very tasty. The ordering area is very small and there was a huge crowd standing there when I visited. It can be controlled by proper management I guess. Apart from that, there were no issues and the customer service was amazing. They also provide a 10% student discount if you have a valid student ID.

Prefect Chippy in the UK . Chips crispy skin . Haddock meat fresh , Salmon meat fresh . I compare with Liverpool, Oxford, London and Cambridge many Chippy shop. especially Onion ring is nice! St.Andrew one is the Best. I hope be one of the Franchise yeah I get Tailend in shortly two weeks trip

The food was great and reasonable price. There was a good ambience and also staff. Definitely go back again. Oh, when you go downstairs to the basement for a table your phone signal will be lost. But they have wifi for you though.

Don't have fish cakes here, it was mostly potato than fish... But the staff was very nice and when I complained they replaced it with fish and chips and didn't charge for it! Meanwhile my friends have already done with their dinner so overall wasn't a great dinner experience... Having said that, because they were fair and nice and the fish and chips were actually good I would go back there!

One of the best fish and chip places in Dundee! Been there multiple times already usually on a Saturday for their fish and chips and their special £1 pound/ oyster deal. The batter on the fish is crispy and golden brown, providing a satisfying crunch with each bite. Portion size is generous and fries are fried evenly as well. Came in for dinner with wife and sister in law , as we came in tried hand sanitiser at top of stairs it was empty,went into restaurant greeter was nice and showed us to table,went to toilets to wash before dinner, no soap in gents, mentioned to staff but didn't get replaced, ordered haddock chips and coleslaw wife had breaded haddock chips and peas, plates were cold and chips were only luke warm, fish was lovely and fresh as was coleslaw, nice private area to dine, just about the right value for money but dissatisfied with attention to detail, no soap being a big issue with cold plates Kid-friendliness: Yes Parking: Parking close,but not right outside Wheelchair accessibility: Only for take aways

I liked that you can customise your fish and I had it grilled with pesto which was great. Nice coleslaw and chips, the couscous salad didn't really go. Overall good place for fish

Food was delicious, arrived quickly and well presented. Staff were friendly and cheerful. Recommend the fish tacos

Nice restaurant in a basement but still feels contemporary and pretty. We all had fish and chips as well as some shrimps and oysters. The portions are big and the food is good. The prices are a bit high for a fish and chips restaurant but I think it's because they try to make it fancy. Enjoyed it and my 2.5 year old son did too. Recommended.

One of the best fish and chips I've had, and probably the best in Dundee. Everything is freshly cooked for you when you order with the fish being perfectly flakey with crunchy batter and the chips having the combination of fluffy on the inside and slightly crunch on the outside.
