I love the place, very good value for money for the massive quantity of food you get, and the quality is always high! We have been using this place for the past 6 years and are always satisfied. We can't get enough of this nice food. The only little thing I would like to point out is the level of spice in the Singapore noodles varies with the chef, apart of that 6 stars
Tai Tip Mein London meal is so delicious. I can proudly say one of the best noodles I ever tasted. When my friend told me about the place I thought he was joking so I went there to see for myself. The customer service was cool. But the food was way cooler. I finished the full plate of special Chinese noodles and the salt and pepper ribs was too yummy. Wherever you are around Woolwich Arsenal Station, be sure to visit here. I bet you will finish the entire meal same way I did and even order some takeaways
This has to be the first Chinese restaurant shouldn't be termed onewith very little customer Service. 1. No table service. 2. The meal was warm at best like it was reheat in the oven. 3. Served water in a glass that was not too clean. 4. If you approach the counter to order while on the phone, you would not get attended to. 5. They only accept cash. Imagine 2 spoons yet no knife provided to eat with. Terrible! Just come here, fill your belly and leave.
If you ever crave Chinese food, this restaurant is the one to go to. Been coming here since a long time. Eaten at plenty of Chinese restaurants in London, but I keep going back to this one Just make sure you take out cash and order at the counter. You can call them and place your order and go to collect with cash. Service is pretty quick and food does not disappoint. Menu prices have gone up like the rest of the problems in the UK, but it’s still fair enough for the amount of portion you get. If you want spicy & hot food, order the Singaporean noodles or rice. I think most of us are already obsessed
Not sure if this is a thing with the restaurant but spent £65 pounds getting food from here on Wednesday 4th, 2022 and in less than 12 hours, the food went nut. My family and I were lucky not to have eaten it without checking. We would probably have ended up at the hospital with food poison. Really wish I could post a video to show how slimy this was.
This restaurant has my entire soul trapped in their food, I can not get enough. I once had food poisoning at another restaurant in Hatfield, and while on my way home to go be sick, I still stopped here to eat. I once drove 2 hours just to come eat here.Food: 5/5
The food here is good although the customer service is absolutely terrible. After she took my order over the phone she just hanged up which I thought was rude. 20 minutes later I rung in to find out how long my food will be to make my way to get it finding out no card payments and cash only was accepted. Getting home one of the dishes I ordered for fried Singapore noodles without duck had duck inside makes me wonder as I’ve just seen reviews of how the food went off fast and one with food poisoning if their food is made fresh…hmmm. I was really looking forward to my noodles which led to complete disappointment because I couldn’t eat it I’ve provided photos and from what I’m aware of duck meat is REDdish in colour I rang in and they also confirmed with the kitchen that they did not put it in now basically I’m the liar. I was told to bring it in and get an exchange which is a waste of my time, energy and fuel as this is their mistake not mine. I couldn’t even bother after spending £43. The service customers receive is important and the standards in this place aren’t met. Won’t be going back.
Walked past this place a number of times and never would have gone in. It looks bad from the outside and not great internally. However a friend loves it and dragged me in....and actually I'm glad they did. Great food. Good prices. Nice option. Great for a little lunch...with massive portions. However no card payment. Don't be scared. Head in. Enjoy
I'll be honest. From outside it's not an inviting restaurant. A long cave with bench on both sides even a bit darker, at the end the desk where you can order and pay no order at the table and you can pay only with cash, no decoration, no table cloth...very essential indeed. The food arrive very quick and yes, this time is served at your table. And here the greatness of this place. Food is simply cooked, not oily, veggy are fresh and the dishes are delicious. Portions are so big you can even share a noodle dish. Price incredibly good. So, chapeau for this little place that is evidently more focus in what they serve than in how they do it. Recommended!
I was left very disappointed with the food. Tasteless, bland and overcooked noodles full of big cut onions. Terrible - one word to describe. This noodle bar used to be good in the past. The chef/chefs needs to be sacked.
