Great host, great food. Has been under new management for about 3 weeks. Host very friendly and accommodating to dietry needs - one of our group is vegetarian. Food beautifully cooked and very tasty.Highly recommend this upcoming pub. Will definitely return again. Thank you.

Nice to see Tafarn Ty Gwyn with a new captain at the helm! Having called in a few times we found the atmosphere to be very lively with professional and friendly hosts offering a good selection of beers and a reasonably priced daily menu board offering freshly sourced products cooked and presented to perfection.

Very dissatisfied with the gammon and chips here. I think it was all cooked via microwave, eggs were hard, no taste to the gammon and also very chewy in places. Wouldn't go back.

Brilliant atmosphere felt relaxed.

Sunday just gone. No one in charge...... bad atnosphere....barmans hands all over the carvery  meat..no hygiene... either be closed or under new management pretty soon. Sorry to say but avoid at all costs

An experience unlike any other.

Best Sunday lunch I have ever had and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Awesome.

Only went in for a couple of drinks as we were visiting the mother in law but it was a nice inviting place with welcoming locals. Right next to  the world famous railway station which I can't spell lol
