My family and I have been patients of the surgery for four years and the service has been excellent everytime. It's reasonably easy to get an urgent appointment in the morning. Even later in the day, if it relates to children then a GP will call me back. The GPs and nurse practitioners have always provided careful and considered care. Should I not need an urgent appointment, the online service is excellent and always meets my needs. Finally, the dispensary is good and I've never had a significant problem with prescriptions. I was also pleased to see a reasonable response to the pandemic, with service provided well throughout and the surgery policy allowing us to stop wearing masks at the correct time rather than dragging it out like some other clinical services.
Called the surgery at 2pm about my sick 2 year old. Despite the NHS being on it's knees, I was called back within the hour and seen face-to-face half an hour later with the prescription filled in-house. Absolutely faultless and reasurring to have such great such a great GP locally. Keep up the great work!
Terrible experiences with the GP's. Reception and nursing staff are great but any appointment over the phone with the actual GP's are terrible, you're made to feel as though you're not actually ill and neither are your children. Patronising and condescending, completely disregard everything you tell them, it's like it's hard work for them to do their actual job.
This GP surgery has some rude receptionists and the GP’s don’t have time to treat you. They love to fob you off and get you to disappear as they aren’t interested in treating you.
I registered my two Ukrainian guests at this practice not my GP’s, simply because they would find it easy to get there by public transport. I am delighted with the care and compassion they have received. I also appreciated the respect for privacy which the large and airy reception area provides.
Had my covid jab today much earlier than I expected and ahead of schedule. Efficient process and all the staff and nurses were incredibly friendly and helpful. I've been a patient here for around 15 years and have always found the practice doctors and nurses to be thorough, compassionate and caring. I feel very lucky to a patient of this practice.
What an amazing service! It shouldn't be a lottery about how good your GPs are! I feel so privileged to have Tadcaster as my medical centre. Every doctor and the admin staff give you a personal service and treat you with care and respect. Sadly my parents medical practice in Oakham is awful... They could learn so much from Tadcaster. In 24 years every doctor at Tadcaster has been brilliant. They all go above and beyond! I highly recommend this medical practice to everybody.
Over the last few weeks I have had cause to contact the surgery on a number of occasions regarding an injury I sustained at work. They have managed to fit me in at short notice, first time seeing Dr Reynolds and then Rachel the nurse. The service I have received has been excellent. I realise how busy the surgery can be and really appreciate the extra effort they have made to accommodate me. Tadcaster surgery and its staff deserve full marks!!!
If your registered here you don’t know how LUCKY you are !!! I was registered here for 4yrs they were great efficient polite professional on the occasions I needed the services they never ever let me down I felt looked after. Oh my how I miss them as I’m out of area now and in need but my local medical centres are horrendous in comparison. If you are registered here consider yourself with one of the best run in the county!!!
Brilliant surgery. The reception staff are polite, friendly and responsive. The healthcare staff are so compassionate and caring. I moved gaps and what a difference!! They listen, they respond and care.
