TABURE is Turkish for a stool synonymous with our Turkish culture and eating. Every street food vendor would scatter their tabures around their stalls for customers to sit and eat their freshly cooked fare. Neighbours sit together, on their tabures in front of their houses to watch the world go by whilst eating an endless supply of sunflower seeds and drinking cay. It is this fundamental sense of commune that was the inspiration behind the name of our restaurant, a part of the fabric of Turkish life.
At TABURE, the food is a melting pot of smaller dishes all prepared in house using fresh, high quality, seasonal ingredients. Additionally there is a house cocktail menu on offer from the bar which goes beyond the classics, and inspired by flavours of Turkey such as pomegranate, mulberry, and star anise. With many wines available by small 125ml glass, a carafe for two or by the bottle, diners will have the chance to sample a wider range of flavours to accompany their individual food choices.
TABURE will offer a set lunch and early evening menu along with a la carte.
