***Update***nSytner customer services subsequently got in touch to rectify the poor service. Hence improving review from 2 to 4 star.nnI have used this BMW centre for about 6 years now and had nothing but positive things to say, justifying to people why i thought going to an official service centre was worth it. Until my service yesterday. They had previously always gone that little extra mile with minor things in the past that made paying a premium to use them well worth it.nnHowever, before my service and MOT yesterday i said that one of the rear parking sensors had wiggled out of position. They said that they would provide me with a quote. I thought, fine, they'll probably just be able to stick there arm under the car, or a have a tool that would just bring the sensor back into place. I was quote £537.72 for the bumper to come off and new sensor. I decided not to go through with this as it seemed steep.nnAbout 10 minutes ago i laid under the back of my car, reached up with my arm and was able to reach the sensor from within the bumper and push it back into position, this took no more than 2 minutes!! Unbelievable! and it works perfectly. I have absolutely no experience of doing any mechanical work with cars aside from helping my Mum change a flat tyre when I was about 12. So the question is, why could a BMW mechanic who has years and years of doing this sort of thing with BMWs not just do this! I'm happy to be charged the time for it, but to go whole hog and say the bumper has to come off is absolutely robbery! How many people are being taken advantage of here! When i started writing this review i didn't think this was such a bad offence, but really it is totally unacceptable, hence the 2 star.
Went there for brake pad change, tyre change and body shop estimation.nBrakes were done okay, they told me they didn't have the tyres I needed even though I told them them make and type a few weeks in advance.nThey took photos of the dents on the body of the car with a promise to get back to me with a price. That was over 3 weeks ago now!
I had the unfortunate experience of a two day old car leaking from the sunroof. The service centre at Sunningdale were fantastic and very sympathetic. They kept me in a hire car and didn’t give my car back until new replacement parts and thorough water checks had been carried out. Alfie was very professional emailing with updates keeping in touch with hire car company so I didn’t have to. Thankyou all for sorting my car so it only gets wet on the outside! Brilliant service.
Katy Ward in the Bodyshop repair team is the principle of what BMW service SHOULD be!nnShe kept me update, even suggested other areas she could get the car back sooner, She went above and beyond and stayed late to deliver the car to me out of hours on Friday night!nnThe work its self was faultless, and I was impressed.nnGood work Katy and the team!
