I was struggling to understand the process of doing my personal and business tax returns and was searching for an accountant to handle my accounts - this is where Switch Accounting stepped in and took me under their wing. They are always on hand to answer any questions and always break it down to me and explain things in a way which even I can understand. They have done my tax returns for the last 3 years and they are always, precise, on time and easy to understand. I can happily recommend Switch accounting to anyone.

Jonathan and the team at switch Accounting have been handling all my accounting needs for a number of years now. It has been a pleasure working with them as they are always helpful, friendly and professional. At the end of the tax year Jonathan makes the effort to visit me at my office to go through the final numbers and to tie up any loose ends. I can fully endorse Switch Accounting and recommend to all.

I was recommended to Jonathan Brothers by a friend who was happy with his work. I met with Jonathan who seemed hungry for my business. I was very clear that we were a few days away from an accounting deadline and if he wanted my business it was on the basis he could meet this deadline. He confirmed he could, and we shook hands on him doing my two Ltd company end of years, corporation tax and the SE returns for my wife and I. 

A couple of hours after I sacked the existing accountants, Jonathan emailed to say he did not have time to do the return, it would be done next month and he would want more money for doing it because there were some errors in my existing accounts. I replied that I would fix those errors and I did so by the next working day. As my deadline approached Jonathan did not reply to my email, he ignored my calls to his mobile and he did not answer the messages I left with his receptionist. I think that once he realised he was not going to get away with doubling his quoted fee he lost interest.

Had he replied to me and confirmed he really was unable to do the work I would have been upset but ignoring all of my communications  was unacceptable. He knew he has caused me problems by allowing me to sack the old accountants and he wouldn’t even take a couple of minutes to say, sorry, I really cant help. Not knowing where I stood was a big problem. In summary you don’t sign up an accountant to give you more stress they are supposed to make your life easier.

I would have given zero stars but one is the minimum

No query too small! Personal Tax Accounting language used is precise yet easy to follow and understand. I feel in Good hands! & Happy to recommend SWITCH Accounting

Switch accounting was recommended to me because I had a very complex multi country tax return. Jonathan’s attention to detail was excellent and I will definitely be using Switch again.
