I used Swinton Insurance to insure our new work van last year. I made a request for quote on a third party website and Swinton's salesman phoned me the next day amongst a flood of phone calls from their competitors. We agreed a policy to start from there but I have never seen the policy cover note, terms and conditions or the schedule either they were supposed to send us. All Swinton were interested in was to set up a direct debit for payments only. Be aware Swinton subcontract another company called Ageas but they would not tell you that before you sign a credit agreement. Ageas can cancelled our business van insurance policy without even notifying my business while continuing to extort a yearly premium. Swinton has sent us a welcome email a couple of months after start of the insurance policy regardless their partner Ageas had cancelled the policy in the meantime while Swinton received ALL payments from us. In summary, Swinton is a company I would not touch with a barge pole.
