With reference to the above review, what a shame Mr Welch failed to get the facts right. The flowers were ordered by himself to be delivered Christmas week,which is one of our busiest times of the year. Four extra delivery drivers are employed this week to ensure flowers are delivered as quickly and professionally as possible. The delivery was made by 11.40am, but unfortunately the recipient was not at home. The driver put a card in the door to explain that the flowers had been left at the neighbouring pub. We could have taken the flowers back to the shop, but thought the recipient would not want to drive to Rye to collect them. We then had a very rude Mr Welch on the telephone, telling us how we had ruined the day. I trust his mother was satisfied with the flowers she received, since there was no complaint about the quality of the arrangement. After thirty years of running a successful business, our customers have always been satisfied with our service.

Worst experience ever. Was told flowers were to be delivered in the morning and were sent after mid-day instead. Mum had already gone out and flowers were delivered to pub instead of mum's house on her 60th birthday. So no suprise for her as I had to tell her to collect them from the pub! No apology when I phoned to complain, for some reason I was in the wrong and Got asked if i had ever done a hard days work. Not worth the effort or money.
