Visited last night with a friend...was having second thoughts due to some of the reviews but thought I'd chance it. Had the set menu... food was great, service was great... couldn't complain about a thing. Really enjoyed the mixed started and the duck. Will be going again.
Was probably the worst chinese food I have ever eaten was made to feel like we were cultures when ordering, there were 7 of us and we were only allowed to order 5 dishes and was told that we could order more once the 5 dishes arrived, when trying to order a couple of more dishes so all 7 of us had a choice the waitress came over and checked our food said you need to ear this first and refused to take our order, we felt like we.were treated like greedy kids. The whole experience ruined our evening and for £167 which was quite expensive for what tasted like a cheap.bad takeaway.
Excellent food in buffet, and plenty of it and reasonably priced. Freshly replenished as pots were emptied. Caring staff gave great consideration to myself and friend to provide specially prepared gluten free dishes.
Ordered takeaway duck pancakes. I honestly don't think they cooked anything in-house, all tasted like cheap, frozen, mass-produced supermarket muck. Salty, gelatinous, inedible soup, packet pancakes, reheated spring rolls, shop-bought sauce, really REALLY disappointing.
Terrible food, rude staff.. terrible experience. This place was shut down by the council for months due to its bad hygiene but somehow managed to re open. Its shut down again and now re opened as a "Thai" Restaurant.. same chinese owners. Stay away.. place is filthy.. dont let the change of name or new colours fool you.
Honestly terrible food. Low quality. I ordered the teppan seafood. It was in a nasty slimy sauce it had no flavour. Service very polite. Food a disgrace. Prices are criminal.
To the waitress with curly hair. Dont worry, i heard your remarks about my very young daughter, it was loud enough and in chinese. The look on your face, you was obviously surprised when i spoke to you in chinese as my appeareance is not of asian chinese. I would suggest you to be mindful of your opionions regarding your customers. The food was great but our meal was ruined by your attitude.
Awful experience, waited for over an hour for our mains, asked for the bill, paid for full order and left without eating our mains. Will never visit again.
Pick up the phone for goodness sake. Can't ever check up on my order, waited over 1.5hrs for a chow mein and prawn dish. STAY AWAY
Service was fantastic, very friendly staff but most importantly the food was fresh and tasted delicious.
