A typical small town station with a limited hours ticket office, though there's a ticket machine outside the main entrance. Parking and bike storage is available. It does have a good Indian restaurant attached if you're interested.
A nice little station with friendly staff. Be aware that on the Portsmouth side you need to use steps to exit the station The bridge is the only way across.
Very small station, manned less and less these days, but at least it's kept clean and tidy. hoever, the waiting areas need some serious work, and the facilities are basicly non existant. Things not to look for: phones, shops, toilets for more than one person at a time, or an ATM. but at least you can get a taxi some times.
Small station with 2 platforms.nHas toilets but only open when the ticket office is open.nHas ticket machines available.nParking for cars and bikes available.nnIs a hot spot for bike theft so make sure to be locked up
Absolutely SHOCKING behaviour from member of platform staff today. Young lady with young baby, buggy, baby bag and suitcase, very wet and lost, asked if there was any way to get to the other platform was rudely told ' No, use the stairs' when she politely asked if the man could help her with her baby and things you was curtly informed 'l don't do that' and he turned his back on her. The poor girl was left in tears and no way to get even to another station with a lift or disabled acces. I called a cab for her and her mother arranged to meet her and get her home. I am APPALLED at the callous way she was treated and the fact that she was obviously distressed, anything could have happened!
