Fantastic campsite!nFlat, well maintained pitches. Plenty of clean facilities. Very friendly and helpful staff. At night you can hear the sea whilst under a beautiful view of the stars. Walking distance to Swanage railway, the bus station, shops and the beach! Car free site is extra safe for children.nThe park is just across the field too.
Great camping experience. The site is spacious and has some very cute features- two small bridges over a stream, decorated with fairy lights in the night and a path in the back that takes you straight into town. The facilities were very clean and there was hot water in the showers. There are a few glamping tents for those who want comfort. The staff in the reception and the little canteen were very friendly and polite. I would definitely go back!
Andy puts his heart into fostering a friendly, relaxing and respectful environment. He's a big advocate for sustainability with recycling on site. Services like toilets, showers and washing facilities are cleaned regularly. He also has loads of outside seating, and charging points outside if you're in a pinch .nI've been coming on and off for years and he has always gone above and beyond to make sure we have the best stay possible. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone who wants the camping experience with all the creature comforts.nnThe only shame is the council restricting his business by only allowing him half the capacity, so get booked in!
We stayed in a bell tent here for 7 nights with my mum and 3 children ages between 3 and 7 at the beginning of August and it was one of the best camping holidays I've had. Additionally, my mum who had never been camping before and was dreading it did not want to leave by the end of the trip.nThe campsite was delightful, with clean showers and toilets and very helpful staff in reception. It felt very safe and I was happy to let the kids go back and forth across the little fairy-light strewn bridges between the loos and sinks and the tent.nA short walk away there was a great playground, and then beyond that there was the co-op, and then the beach, so most of our days went campsite->playground->beach->co-op->playground->campsite. We did lots of crabbing at the beach, and there were also very clean public toilets along the beach front. It worked very well. We also went to Corfe castle on the steam train which was also just a walk away right next to the co-op, we drove to Renscombe car park and walked to Chapman's pool then had a pasty at the Square & Compass, and we drove to Studland Beach got free parking there having signed up to the National Trust at Corfe Castle.nI cannot recommend the campsite and the general area enough. The kids had the best, completely device-free time. We will be coming again.
Excellent campsite, within 8 min walk of the beach and local town. Ultra clean facilities and well kept grass areas for the camping. Its a little gem of a campground! Special thanks to Andy, the boss, for his very warm and welcoming approach. Wont hesitate to stay here again next year.
