I really wish they would rebuild this station on the side which was damaged by the train accident all those years ago. It would make the place such a lovely place to wait.
It's a few minutes walk from the town and shopping centre of Sutton Coldfield but the station does its job well enough. Trains here are frequent to Birmingham and Redditch and both platforms have step free access and a car park. Station looks quite nice as well.
Good access via train to Birmingham and Lichfield and many more places the station is 2 minutes from town ideal location and not normally very busy
Nice station. Good access to Birmingham.
Decent amount of parking but it's usually full by 9am on a weekday. Little shop on platform 2, nice pub just next to it. Ticket machines on platforms.
This station still has it's original features and I love it. :
Beautiful Victorian station; consequently has a huge entrance hall and wide corridors
Local train station. Cute and "old-fashioned" it works as expected.
A nice station with helpful staff. Easy access to the town centre, approx 5 mins walk.
