Lovely experience, great views, very busy unfortunately one side of the bridge was closed for maintenance so more people whilst walking over the bridge
It’s my favourite place in Bristol at in any season, when I go for my run or walk I always try to include Suspension Bridge as it’s magnificent with beautiful views and chilled vibes, next to bridge there is cafe as well so you can enjoy the view from the top. Each season just bring different colours to this Bristol symbol of a bridge.
Up on the A38 looking down into the Ashton country park with good views from-- with binoculars waste ground by a housing estate-and ideal for walking dogs but clean up after a visit don't annoy the residents that tolerate this vantage point-- the balloons are easy visible as they lift in to the air and depending on which way the wind is going you may get them fly to your direction but check the weather forecast as if the wind is above 12mph it's unlikely they will lift and there could be differing winds at differing heightsoccasionally there is a burger van or ice cream vendor on site so watch your waste
The bridge is marvelous to see! Beautiful and a must watch.
