I was referred to the perinatal mental health team with SABP, and was incredibly disappointed with the services.nnThe initial team who contacted me were unprofessional and chaotic. The woman who assessed me in person was late, disorganised and didn’t seem to know what she was talking about.nnAfter being informed of all the options and services available, I was later informed my mental health was not severe enough to warrant further help. I was discharged with no further advice or support. At a time we’re told to reach out when you’re struggling, I feel more alone now than I did prior to asking for help.nnI agree with all the previous comments, this service is doing more harm than good at the moment.
Untrustworthy, problematic management, English is a second language
Got a letter over a year after referral to say they are only just seeing patients that were referred 3 years ago... Right to choose here I come!
Biased, provides assurances to legal issues in writing, then breaks them later on, evidenced based statement and when you challenge them by way of process they deny, what they previously agreed to, deny the existence of documents that they previously gave you, of which were signed. The more discerning persons reading this can make their own mind up. Of course, the word biased has many meanings, such as, hostile and even distorted!nnI can support by way of tangible evidence my statement above.
Seen Psych liaison at both Epsom & ESH. Very impressed; particularly for a rural county’s service. Given I’m not a local there is the bonus of faxing my local Trust SLaM / Oxleas and sending me back home! But well done. The service is almost as good as SLaM & Oxleas; certainly surpasses both Kent & Sussex Trusts.
