"Laid back Cornish surf cafe at its best. Breakfast from 10am and lunch from 12 noon. Amazing views and chilled surf vibe. Home cooked food, Cornish coffee and drinks that go down perfectly out on the decking in the sunshine. Cosy wood burner in the Winter for a bit of storm watching with a super dooper hot chocolate. Surf hire and shop selling all you need for the beach. Dogs are very welcome inside and out."

A place you must visit if you’re in the area, I’ve been coming here for years but we went there twice last week and had great food and drink. A nice vibe together with fast service with views to die for! The surf shop within the cafe is also a nice addition with some cool stuff. I only wish I could get a t-shirt or hoodie with the old logo on - they were cool as!
Stopped for a quick drink. Didn't eat but the menu looked good. Easy to access from the car park and lovely view sitting outside

Love this laid-back place. We keep coming back. Great food, especially the cakes! We shared this tasty panini at lunchtime today, looking out over a rough sea after a blowy walk along the beach. Really friendly staff and super dog friendly too. Donate for a dog biscuit at the counter and your four-legged companion will be happy too. Back again in Oct 2020 for breakfast, which was delicious. Lovely and friendly as ever. Can't keep away! May 2022 and the friendly welcome and awesome breakfast still as good as ever. Our trips to Gwithian are not complete without coming here. Thanks for being as brilliant as always.

First off....the view...amazing! Have lived in Hayle for 7 years on only ever been here when our boy had surf lessons. Today the wife and I decided to have breakfast whilst he was surfing, not disappointed one bit, was brilliant. Breakfast was fantastic! The wife even asked if it's going to be our regular on a Saturday morning? Thank you Kid-friendliness: And dogs are welcome too Parking: Free Nov 1st to march 31st.
This was a pleasant surprise as it wasn't open when we last visited the beach last year - we live near St Austell and it's not our local walk. As being dog friendly it has good staff and an interesting, if limited, menu On our visit we didn't want any fried food for health reasons - the Caesar Salad is amongst the best I have ever tasted and I've never had a salad that filled me before - the bacon, chicken, parmesan and croutons were really good and the sauce spot on. My lady's grilled chicken burger was also declared very good. Could it be better? Offer the choice of the excellent chicken burger with chips as an option to save them being wasted and your customers money.

Very tasty food, friendly and.polite service. The location is great and car parking is just opposite. Well worth a visit.
