The worst Dr surgery I have ever come across , I am thankfully now an Ex Patient but I dealed with them tor years never any appointment never answer the phone you would want to be dying to be seen even then they will probably get a Dr to ring you. Blood boiling the way they treat patients. If you don’t have the capacity to Treat your patients you shouldn’t have taken them all on. Seem’s like they have way too many patients than they can deal with, if they haven’t already they will cause serious harm.
Im in this doctors since Dr Gallagher who was a great doctor and was always seen to on the day , Now any appointment i have tried to get iv been told there is nothing available for at least a week and to call next morning for cancellation but they dont answer. I am really sick the last 3 weeks and i finally got a phone call consultation where he told me to come in the next week if i didn't improve and i just got told 14th of July i could be seen. I feel so let down and abandoned by my doctor and don't know what to do. Wouldn't even give a full star but there is no option for minus stars.
Long waits and unfriendly reception staff are only half the problem. Although some doctors are very good there is no way to get to see them unless you book long in advance who knows they're going to be sick in advance?. The waiting room is cluttered and dirty. The whole outfit is very old fashioned, with doctors having to come out of their rooms and call into the waiting room to get patients. You have no idea how many patients are in front of you so there's no way of gauging how long you're going to be waiting. Particularly problematic if you can see that one of the people in the room is contagious and you have an infant with you. I wouldn't recommend choosing this surgery, which is a shame as some of the doctors are excellent.
Exceptionally long waiting times of over 90 minutes for a scheduled appointment. The staff and doctors appear to be competent and professional individuals but their centre's standard of services/appointments needs to be urgently reviewed.

The waiting room is always packed and even though you have an appointment you still end up waiting over an hour which I know every now and again you can get a bit behind but it's every time so not sure why they even bother with appointments. The reception staff are the most unprofessional I have ever come across not in any way helpful or friendly. They have made comments out loud for the whole waiting area to hear that where private and not for the world to hear Would not recommend this place for anything
I am such a fan of this place and it's associated practise at Shelton Grove, Kimmage. I have had nothing but positive, validating experiences here with the professional staff, from Dr. O'Rorke to Nurse Kinsella who is a complete powerhouse at managing asthma. Feel very safe in their hands and they are fantastic with children too. Highly recommend.
I have always found this surgery great,both before and after having children . Reception staff are lovely and very accommodating at all times. Loads of parking around.
The centre has been freshly painted and looks a lot cleaner however the waiting room is usually packed and there are no windows open considering the fact that there would be a lot of people there with viruses some of the doctors are brilliant but its hard to get an appointment with the doctor you want which makes it extremely hard to build up a relationship with your doctor also if you ring looking for an appointment that day you have to be literally dying btw they have another practice up in Shelton grove so it’s worth mentioning this on the phone if you can’t get an appointment
Unfriendly reception and unprofessional medical center. They have a ridiculous way to work and how to become a patient. They don't follow the Hippocratic oath, seeing the patients that attend to their center.
