Lovely old theatre, we came to see Wicked. We were sat in the gallery, however it is really difficult to see the show from up there which was such a shame!nnStaff very friendly, nice clean theatre, parking close by and easy to get to.
Wicked was spectacular, world class vocal performances, lighting, acting. Had seats In The dress circle with a great view of the stage. However there was no leg room, chair was uncomfortable and there was no exit on the left so you have to disturb everyone on the row and behind when you get up. Toilets are not good, hot air blower not working, urine all over the floor. At the end of the show the bouncers couldn’t get us out quick enough and even started banging down the door of the ladies toilets. For some reason the merch stand was right at the top of the stairs which was a hazard and completely stupid. Show was superb, theatre needs a refurb for modern times
Lovely theatre.nHave seen quite a few musicals here and the venue has not disappointed.nIts quite small compared to many theatres but all seats give good views of the stage.nIts old looking features adds to its atmosphere.nWould definitely recommend seeing a show here.nFive star
I visited to watch Wicked in is UK tour.nThe venue is clean and easily accessible. Food and drink is quite expensive inside.nBiggest issue is wifi accessibility. Download your tickets before you get to the venue and don't rely on WiFi in the venue.
A fantastic theatre providing amazing shows. Staff friendly and always willing to help. Good view of the stage from row M for wheelchair users. Refreshments delivered to your seat before the show or during the interval by using a well advertised app.nnOnly downside to this venue, for me, is the bar just inside the wheelchair entrance gets very busy and blocks access on every visit. Would be better is disabled visitors were allowed entrance through the door used as an exit at the end of the show, level access and less likely to be blocked. Hopefully something they will consider.
