Can’t take bags in which I think is odd, and didn’t see any signs or anything online saying so. However the issue is with the abrupt staff member, needs a lesson in customer service, he’s snappy and acts like he doesn’t want to be there. Also it is overpriced compared to competitors. and the range itself is actually old looking and the tee off green is not very good quality. Won’t be back, better ones elsewhere.
I typically don’t write reviews about staff, but my recent experience at this golf driving range was quite disappointing. I visited with my 12-year-old daughter, and when I requested 200 balls, the staff member behind the counter was abrupt and unhelpful. He simply shook his head and refused my request. Upon asking for clarification, I learned that non-members are limited to 100 balls per day. While I understand the need for policies, I was trying to order 100 balls for myself and 100 for my daughter. It felt unreasonable that I was denied this request; had we approached the counter separately, I believe we would have each received our allocation without issue. What added to my frustration was that the range was not busy at the time, with only four other users present. It seemed counterintuitive to enforce such a policy when the facility was underutilised. Additionally, I found the range somewhat dated, lacking modern features like tracer technology, which enhances the experience. While I might consider returning due to its proximity to my home, I would likely explore other options in the area first.
Visited driving range to hit a few balls on a weekend. All good until I got back to my car to find a golf ball size dent in the roof. Inadequate control measures to prevent stray golf balls landing in the car park, car was actually parked in the middle of the car park so looks like nowhere is safe from s*** shots. £300 repair because of cabbages who can't hit a shot even remotely straight.
Great range, I use it 3-4 times a week with my kids and they love it, too. Membership free with £25+ ball purchase, equivalent to 500 balls in 2022 makes the day a heap cheaper. Happy hour is great value. Double balls for members. ITS COVERED! Covered from top and behind you so no weather putting you off. NO TECH! Only gripe here is that there's not 1 bay with any tracer tech involved. Not a big gripe, but I'd love better feedback than a tracer app on my phone can give. Even if there were just 1 premium bay to hire with TopTracer available, I'd give this max stars. It's really a great range.
Great and fun place to have relaxing few hours hitting some balls. Good prices and helpful staff. Will be back! Even as a complete novice I had slot of fun.
Prices to use the driving range here have become far to expensive over the years! There was a time when it was very reasonable, but not now! You should be able to get a basket of balls for £2.50! There should be no reason to charge so much, it will only deter people from coming back, like myself. Please lower your prices and stop being greedy!!
Visited to put in some free time waiting for flight home. Great facility and friendly helpful staff. Thoroughly enjoyed my brief visit.

Good fun, plenty of bays. Coaching available for those who need it and have the money. Great place to try golf. Miller and carter next door, is handy if you fancy a bite to eat as well..
Guy behind the counter was horrible, unhelpful. 100 balls is more expensive than 150 and he nearly let me pay more for fewer balls before I noticed the sign. No idea why he is working in a customer facing role. Can't bring your bag in either.
