Great park with gorgeous walled garden. The park is easily walkable and it has some benches. It does get muddy after rain and cows roam freely.nThe walled garden is very pretty. It has a small cafe and embroidery gallery worth a visit!nBeen in spring, summer and this time in autumn was equally beautiful.nThere are 2 parking spaces by the garden and the other side . And it's 2min walk to the river bank.
Lovely little garden especially in the summer wheelchair friendly. Good for anyone one with mobility issues.The paths are flat and even with plenty of benches to sit. Parking is good and affordable. Lovely cafe serving tea and coffee cake and sandwiches. The staff are very nice and the tea is served in pots and is delicious. The best I've had in a long time. To the left of the garden is a play area for the kids and a dog free meadow. To the right of the there's a large dog friendly area. Just across the road from the car park is the river Thames with plenty of seats. To get down by the river there are steps but also a sloping path for wheelchair access. Great place to while away an hour or two and enjoy nature.
Beautiful gardens that are a calm and relaxing place to sit down especially in the summer. The flowers and grounds are well kept after and smell amazing. However the cafe was closed which was quite disappointing but regardless definitely coming back again.
A beautiful hidden garden.nnA lovely relaxing, tranquil environment with beautiful flowers, trees and plants.nnI could sit here and take in all the beauty of the garden, the fresh air, the smell of the plants and the noise of the birds in the trees and the squirrels running around playing.
Beautiful park and small gallery. One side of gallery held new collections every 6months.n1hr free parking available the good thing is they have beautiful well maintained garden and both side has little green forest for hiking. Good with dog walks. We had a buggy so spent time in the garden but will be fresh and cool area for hiking . They have small toilet inside cafe !! Great place !!
