Nice food and courtyard-esque beer garden but still financially recovering from burger and double vodka and coke. Burger fell apart when eating it which was a shame and very messy. Would definitely consider this to be overpriced; I would expect to pay these prices in London, not Faversham! I only have a receipt because I couldn’t believe the total I had paid so wanted to check what I had been charged for. Unlikely to return Food & drinks: Average food with way above average price tag.
Been here twice now. Sadly second visit wasn't as good overall. Food great both times. But had to ask 3 times for a hot Hot Chocolate. As roaring log fire as entered. Had booked for restaurant, but it was airy with radiators that weren't on and stone cold. Really didn't want to take coat off.. Attentive towards allergies.
Excellent old hotel. Room very old and very impressive architecturally. Food, Shepherd Neame real ale and service all excellent. Central location means no on site parking but very near a pay car park so 4 stars for locationRooms: 5/5
One of the best restaurants I have been to to date by far! Our server was so lovely! And the food was delish! Never had so much good banta with a member of staff! Didn’t get their name but had some v cool pins on their lanyard but we visited on the 20th of December. Amazing ambiance and clean toilets Walkability: Car park 5 min walk away!
Great traditional pub in the middle of Faversham. Superb ambiance and a great selection of beers. Rooms are small but immaculately clean. Well kitted out and comfortable. Menu is as you would expect in a traditional pub.....very tasty. I had an excellent pie and mash. Big beer garden for those warm days and evenings. Breakfast menu is perhaps a bit wider than you would expect and I can recommend the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. The full English looked tempting but I can no longer handle a large breakfast. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Fab character building on the high street. Great staff, posh breakfast and good beer on tap. Only reason it didn’t get 5 was the fact the walk in shower waste was blocked and room filled up before I’d got the temperature right. So no shower. I told them about it at checkout so they didn’t have a chance to rectify to be fair. No parking. Central CP has 4hr max but has EV charging, Partridge Lane is under £7 overnight, safe. Both 5 min walk max.
I have been staying here regularly for some time and have eaten some lovely food. Thanks so much to Brendan, Leigh and the whole team for always delivering such great service!Rooms: 5/5
Lovely pub - good food, nice cosy atmosphere, reasonable prices, great service
Lovely location. Super and tasty Sunday lunch. Very highly recommend.Service: 4/5
Absolutely wonderful accident. I booked a room here as it was one of three options at the last minute. My room was beautifully decorated and the bed was comfy. And a very unexpected treat of my own private garden! The drink selection is great, especially if you enjoy a cask ale. The menu is quite modern and not typically “pub grub”, but not posh or pretentious. I will absolutely stay here again the next time I’m in Faversham.
