After moving to Barnoldswick in Nov 2021, I have now tried all the Indian takeaways in the area and this is by far the best one! You could tell that the curry was cooked from fresh using lots of different spices how I like it and it was very tasty. The guys who served me were also top guys! I will now be making this my regular takeaway.
Tonight was the first time I have been to Sultan Takeaway in Barnoldswick. I moved into the area 7 months ago. Tonight was my best experience of a curry dish for a long time. I am an aged gentleman who enjoys good food. 5 Star Recommendation. Thanks for a lovely meal. Will call again.
Bengal Spice offers delicious and top-notch cuisine. The food is truly outstanding, and we recently celebrated my wife's birthday with a takeout meal. The service was fast and efficient, and the meal was enjoyed by all.Food: 5/5
Service was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the chicken madras lacked flavour and ingredients, the sauce was more tomato soup than traditional madras. Chapattis good, portion size average.
I heard good things but honestly don't waste your money. Lamb chop starter was fatty and slimey. Mixed started had gristle and made me gip. Main course lamb tikka is bone dry and gone in bin. Chappati's were cold and wet. Rice was ok. Sultan wasn't the best but this takeover is even worse! Go Usmaniyah instead. Waste of money. One-star is the minimum I can score
My family and I have enjoyed each and every takeaway we’ve had from sultan, and long may it continue. I find a lot of other curry places too oily but not from here - keep up the good work!
Never had one from here before and after reading the reviews couldn't wait to try one. Would have been nice if I didn't find a massive chicken bone size of my thumb in my main meal. Good job I found it with my spoon first.
