Oh my goodness where do I even start!!!! First of all I don’t know why or how we didn’t come sooner but boy was it worth the wait . The atmosphere was amazing, good music, good vibes. We love our food so naturally ordered a bit of everything and asked for it all to come together because we like to enjoy everything at once the EFFICIENCY was truly appreciated because we all know with Caribbean dining everything can sometime take time but these guys were on it . So much variety on the menu and I honestly can’t believe the value for money need to be charging more considering the quality of food and the freshness, just amazing. The rum punch definitely had a punch and was super refreshing, lovely cocktail &the 2 for £15 deal was a bonus. The food was seriously something special - THE FLAVOURS!!! Just wow . The right balance of spices and heat, the temperature upon serving, it was all pretty perfect. I don’t think we’ve ever had such delicious Caribbean food locally. The portions were veryyyy generous and off course because our eyes are generally bigger than our bellies it was only right to take the rest home to feast on which also meant we had no room for dessert but next time for sure. The seafood boil stunning platter!!! The dumplings, so soft and yummy! We will be back very very soon! Thank you SUGERCANE for a wonderful dining experience and FAB customer service xo
I have attended Sugarcane in the past and always found it to be a friendly warm atmosphere and delicious food. However, I attended for my daughters 40th birthday on 11th October 2025.nUpon arrival as soon as I step my foot into the building I was asked to pay for my meal I was put out about this at first but yes it made sense to stop any confusion later on. There was 18 of us and we were not grated by staff at any point during our visit. We had ordered the eat as much a you want buffet but there was no way near enough food to cater for us all to go back if we wanted. The food was left sitting for quite some time before we found out It was ready. The service was a very bad let down and there was no way enough food to cater for us all to eat as much as we wanted. My daughter and her friend were made to pay for people who had not attended and we were not asked once how things was going and the buffet was never topped up. Compared to when it first opened the service and quantity is now appalling. When you run any business it's so important for you to ensure that your customers are happy at all times through out their visit. If this is not happening you have to ask yourself why and always find ways to make your customers want to come back. This experience tainted my daughters 40th. Take the opportunity to learn from this experience, admit when you are wrong and make the necessary changes in order to build up much better service.
We attended for the all you can eat Sunday lunch - curry mutton, jerk chicken, rice and peas, roast potatoes, yorkshire pudding and cabbage. Was absolutely delicious home cooked food. Would definitely return and recommend.
I went to sugar cane on friday the 17th october for an 18th birthday, my overall experience was amazing, we had a booking of 25 people and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate for us. Food was lovely and everyone in the party had a good time and it was honestly amazing. I would like to say a massive thank you to Becky and all the staff at sugar cane for doing the most for us :
Ordered from here tonight and wow! Amazing food. I have not tasted curry mutton like that in years - since childhood. Full of flavour and good portion size. Packaged well. Will definitely order again or pop in with friends/family. Thank you! :
