The presentation of the food is absolutely splendid, the flavour in the food is amazing, the service is great and the place is very comfortable to go to! Would definitely come again.
We enjoy eating at the Sugar Mill The set menu on event days is a little limited, and the quality can slip a little. For this reason I gave 4 rather than 5 star But on the whole to food is tasty, well prepared and quite unique. There’s a good range of beverages and their deserts are excellent. Price is about right, especially considering it’s London and the location
These guys are liars! Ordered Maple Glazed Chicken with Rosemary chips and Garlic Butter. I have ordered this four times previously with an attached separate pot of Garlic Butter given as a dipping sauce. I called the restaurant on this occasion, as my Garlic Butter was missing. The waiter and then the manager told me, there is already butter on the chips as the chips are made with butter. He then went on to say that it is his right to not provide the butter if and when he runs out. I explained I have ordered four times previously knowing what is and isnt included in the order. He reiterated he didn't care. I was really shocked about how rude this manager was and how he first tried to convince me that the chips photographed have some sort of imaginary butter on them. The description clearly states Rosemary Chips with Garlic Butter. I would appreciate being informed what action would be taken due to this managers lies.
Went for the unlimited breakfast about 10am on a Sunday morning. The food was cold and sparse, spoke to the foreman just to ask for some hotter food he asked what I wanted I said everything should be hot. His customer service was great couldn't fault the man. Pancakes came out and then mushrooms, I loaded my plate with the above because i thought it was hot. It was warm. My partner went to enjoy the toast and she found a hair. That was the last straw, we left very upset and a fiver down because we had parked in the car park next to it. £5 for up to 2 hours is the first tier of payments. My only advice is to keep on top of replenishment and keep the fire going on the trays to keep food hot. All in all not happy with my stay.
We live local and find this place excellent. Superb service, amazing cakes prepared daily and deserts to die for. They have been offering £3 for cake a coffee if you get there before 18:00! You won't be disappointed you just have to step in to see their cake counter to know you have made the right choice. Have enjoyed their buffet breakfast now a few times as well, excellent value for money. This place really is a gem, very stylish and as it is next to the Outlet as oppose to inside it probably is not noticed as much, but guess won't be long before the word gets out.
Had the worst experience ever at Sugar Mill. My boyfriend and I went to the restaurant on a Sunday. It was very busy as Ed Sheeran was performing at Wembley. Very understandable the queues were long and we had to wait for a bit. When we finally had a table which was about 30 mins, we were pointed to the table not seated with no menus so we waited for the waiters to give us a menu still nothing. So I had to get there attention to give us a drink and food menu. They finally took our orders in. We received our food 1 hour later and between that hour not one waiter came and asked us if we were okay or needed anymore drinks or even let us know why our food was delayed. We were both fuming at this point. The food wasn’t even all that just a regular burger which cost us £42. And they had the audacity to add a service charge when they was no service at all. Will not be coming back to this restaurant.
Excellent place for not only desserts and ice creams there snacks and main courses are pretty good. The food, desserts and ice creams are all made on the premises and while the ice cream sundae was piled high with whipped cream the serving of berry compote and fresh berries was generous however the ice cream was OK. The snacks were excellent and well presented. Value for money. Service was personable and polite.
Great atmosphere, well located and 10/10 service. Food can be lacking though.
Have been to the sugarmill several times now. The food is no less than 8 Out of 10 and the service is impeccable. Friendly staff Were Always On Hand and very understanding when it comes to things like large groups. Bonus point for me is that the food is halal! For the more strict Muslims however, please note that they do serve alcohol on the premises.
One of the worst restaurants in the area. Manager is rude and clearly doesn’t care for her staff. Actual restaurant looks messy inside with an unorganised theme and food came greasy and portions are small. Ordered the nachos and they came with a horrible cheese sauce instead of actual cheese, looked like it was just thrown on the plate. Definitely never returning or recommending.
