Whilst I believe there are some very good staff at Suffolk Transmissions, the mechanic who completed my Gearbox Flush & Fluid Change was not fit to run a bath. 3 weeks after a gearbox service the sump pan gasket blew out on the motorway  causing gearbox box fluid loss while in transit.

I was really impressed with the service, took my Ford Kuga for an automatic transmission service, they were quick, efficient and the price was exactly as they quoted, which was a third less than the main Ford dealer. Very happy. I would recommend this company.

Repair of a leaking final drive from Lotus Excel. Polite efficient service and turned around in 2 days. They have since helped me with gears on a Lotus Esprit.  Great to have a company like this on my doorstep, very helpful

Good experience and would recommend to anyone needing gearbox work.  Takes a little but of time to find them, due to being located inside another site, but don't let that put you off!  Communication could be better. I arrived the first evening to find my courtesy car MIA, and I hadn't been informed. They very kindly picked up my car from an hour away the next day. Once my car was there, I found myself chasing for price breakdowns, and what day they would expect to get the car finished so I could come pick it up. Nevertheless, the work was reasonably priced and having got the car back, they've done a great job rehauling the box, and their on-site customer service is top notch. Well worth the wait. 5*.

Absolutely outstanding garage, Paul and his mechanics are very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They managed to fix our very poorly nissan qashqai , kept us informed of all the repairs and costs throughout. Very genuine and polite reception staff, who quite simply cannot do enough for you. I would not hesitate to recommend this garage to anyone. Absolutely astonished that's they've managed to get our car back to how it should be.

Qick gearbox test showed that the problem lay elsewhere.  Sam was really helpful, he suggested probable causes and possible solutions.  Excellent service.  If i do need my gearbox repairing i will look no further than Suffolk Transmissions
