Lovely store; great selection of furniture and excellent quality too. My parents moved into the area recently and found the manager to be very responsive and helpful.

Great variety of things and very reasonably priced. The manager, Angela, is extremely nice and helpful. We bought some furniture from there the other day and, despite being rushed off her feet with how busy the shop was, she made time to deal with our many questions and queries. The rest of the staff were amazing too. Such a nice atmosphere in the shop because of them, which is what made our shopping experience there an awesome one! We'll be definitely going back for more!

I was in the store yesterday and although it was very busy and they were not many volunteers available I couldn't have wished for a more pleasant welcoming or experience. The Manager who I believe is named James was and is always particularly attentive, polite welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. He was making sure that every customer was seen to and acknowledged in the most accomadating way to see that everyone felt that they were valued. Both James and his team are a credit to Sue Ryder. We arranged a furniture collection as we were moving house and had a lot of nice furniture that we didn't want to go to waste. The app said it was booked but I had no confirmation email so I rang to confirm and was reassured that it was. Then I got a text the next day saying the collection was cancelled with no explanation. I rang to find out why and the guy who cancelled went on holiday, and the poor lady still there had no idea why and no authority to do anything about it. I know they're a charity and I'm not asking for much but just don't say you can collect something if you can't, or at least give an explanation if things change.
