We found Jon via a recommendation. After viewing his previous work, we just knew he was the right photographer for us. We live in Australia and having to postpone our Glasgow wedding twice due to Covid, Jon was so incredibly accommodating moving the date twice!. I can’t recommend Jon Dennis enough. He was so easy to communicate with and his very easy going demeanour just took out the stress out of what is a rather stressful day. But above all, his skill in capturing moments and the ‘vibe’ of the day is truly something special. Jon is class act from start to finish!
We came across Jon’s work through our wedding venue in York. We were instantly impressed by his beautiful pictures that are somehow otherworldly and art like, yet candid and natural. On the day of wedding he was also just genuinely lovely, even helping to put us at ease. The day was such a whirlwind, so having our beautiful pictures to remember it by is such a gift.
Jon did the photography for our wedding in July 2022. He was truly brilliant. He worked tirelessly throughout the day capturing so so many incredible photos. He went above and beyond what a photographer should do - he held the grooms party together with his knowledge of ties, button holes and pocket squares etc as well as being fantastic with the bridal party in their hours of getting ready. He took us into the Peak District for half an hour in the evening as he knew it was an important place for us. He really was a fantastic photographer, but also so much more. We cannot recommend him highly enough, 5 stars doesn’t quite do him justice.
I booked Jon after seeing the photos he shot for my friends wedding a few years ago. He was by far my favourite wedding Supplier. So friendly, helpful and easy to talk to. On the day, he helped us round everyone up for the group photos we had asked for and the rest of the time we hardly knew he was there. The photos are perfect. Three of us from my friendship group have had Jon shoot our wedding days now. Thank you Jon, you’re amazing!
Our wedding planned recommended Jon for our wedding over in Ibiza, and once we saw his work it was an immediate yes. We had close contact with Jon beforehand to discuss in detail the type of shots we were after, and on the day despite the boiling temperatures! Jon seemed to be in a million places at once to capture the most amazing portfolio of images that are now displayed around our home. Since starting a family, Jon has also done several family shots over the years as the children have grown which are equally as stunning. We can't recommend Jon enough
Jon was our wedding photographer in September 2019. Jon was brilliant to liaise with in the run up to the wedding and great on the day, he helped calm my nerves as I was getting ready and my husband as he was waiting at the church. During the day Jon shared his experience and coached us through some of the important shots like confetti, golden hour and sparkler exit. We have an amazing set of photographs to look back on and help us to remember our wedding, and I’d recommend Jon without hesitation.
Choosing a photographer for our wedding was one of the most important decisions we had to make. You go through so much preparation for your perfect day and you want it all to be documented so you can hold on to it forever. So having a photographer who can capture all those moments as naturally and beautifully as possible is a must! And for us, Jon did that to perfection. He’s not only extremely talented, he is also the most patient photographer ever.Getting a huge Iranian family to line up for family photos is not easy! What can I say...the best wedding photographer there is! You feel like you don't even know Jon is there, but he's everywhere and captures every special moment. The end photos are amazing, and he makes sure the process of having them taken is fun. Since our wedding Jon has taken photos of our growing family and it turns out he's equally as good at getting beautiful photos of grumpy toddlers. 5 stars again and again!
Jon was amazing! He captured our wedding day so well and we love looking through the photos and seeing all the angles and moments we missed during the craziness of the day! He knows exactly where to be at the right time so as to not miss anything and he handled all the family photo demands really well. The box of prints we received a few weeks later are really good quality. All round wonderful experience, thanks Jon!
Jon has been our photographer on 3 separate occasions, our wedding in 2017, a 2020 family shoot and most recently a month ago for another family shoot in the beautiful Peak District. As people that aren’t the most comfortable in front of the camera we have always felt at ease and genuinely enjoyed every shoot with Jon, a testament to his warm personality and professionalism. We have never been disappointed with any of the pictures we have received and still now, over 5 years after getting married, we are asked by friends and family about S6 Photography. We cannot speak more highly of our experiences and will always recommend him.
