I left the store just about an hour ago, I am a regular customer who works early shifts in a hotel and wants to check emails while drinking a coffee. A female staff member with no name badge opened in the freezing cold the doors wide. As I asked to close them as it was unbearable cold she told me that the store windows are condensing. As I looked at the windows, there was no sign of condensing water. More or less, she told me that I have to put up with the freezing temperature because "that's her job". I nearly asked her if she has a mental illness which makes her seeing things no one else does, like condensing windows, but I bite in my tongue as I am a regular customer and asked her if she ever heard about "customer service". She said then she served me ( means giving me a latte ) but there seem to be the end of her understanding of service. She had a non-British accent, I don't know where she comes from, but now she needs to get used to live and work in England and learn that here the customers needs are above the staffs wants, especially when they are in people's heads only and not in the reality visible for every one like "condensing windows". Of course the female disappeared in the back and didn't need to put up with the freezing temperature in the restaurant like me. I packed then my things and told her straight away that I don't need to spend money to sit in the freezing cold, I can do that for free outside in the bus stop. What has become the cosy, welcoming atmosphere ?

I wasn't overly impressed with this subway as I walked in I looked around and the tables didn't look overly clean the seats were peeling and in the creases were a build up of dirt. Then I went to the counter to order my food nothing seems to be stocked up properly like the cups, the food looked ok though. Then once I purchased my food and the cups I went over to fill up my cup with some fizzy and the drain tray was filled up with all of this manky mixture of coffee tea and all the fizzies it was disgusting and needed cleaning out! All this sort of left me feeling a grossed out and i didnt enjoy my food. I've been in other subways and knew the standard I was looking for. I was disappointed. The lady was nice though. I was put off by her glasses strap too as it should have been a bright yellow and orange strap but it was darkened by dirt it looked really grubby :-(

Clean, good service. Pity they don't have salad sandwich (no meat or cheese) available at a reduced price, but at least you know what you're getting.

Took client for his lunch, he was very happy! Staff are very good.

This store is great, the staff are always very friendly, the food is great. All round a great experience.
