Ellis is highly professional and a fabulous teacher. I was terrified of the water and diving and he coached me through it all giving me the time I needed to feel comfortable and was the best teacher I could wished for. I highly recommend Ellis and Sublime diving for you Curacao diving experience. He was extremely attentive and would take the time to explain things and make sure I stayed calm during the whole Padi certification.
If you’re looking for local, friendly, and knowledgeable dive shop that tailors to smaller groups then Sublime Diving is worth checking out. Ellis provides prompt communication and flexible coordination for your dive trips. I experienced 3 great days of shore diving all around the West end of the island. Got to see lobsters, scorpion fish, a few seahorses, hawks bill turtle and Ellis even pointed out some tiny but cool nudibranchs. Ellis is accommodating and arranges the dives based on the day’s conditions to give you the best experience. Sublime Diving provides great equipment, fun shore dives with a laid-back island vibe!
Ellis is an amazing instructor for first time divers. We got to see a lot of very nice underwater scenery and he was super attentive to ensure we both were safe and learned new techniques. Highly recommend this dive shop!
Had some amazing fun dives with Ellis in Westpunt and Willemstad and really enjoyed his relaxed attitude underwater and on land! Definitely planning on going diving with him again if I'm coming back to Curaçao. Chilldiving deluxe!
Ellis is a super friendly and skilled instructor. We had an awesome first diving experience! Very personal approach, he makes sure you are comfortable and confident at every step. We went on our first diving session with him, saw sea turtles at a beautiful spot and had a blast. Highly recommended!

We did multiple dives with Ellis and the trips were amazing!!! We dove with multiple different companies while we were on the island, Sublime was by far the best. We did a lion-fish dive that was incredible as well as multiple different reefs along the island that were our favorite of our trip. Thanks for all the great trips Ellis & Sue.
