Visited tonight as our usual local chippy wasn't open.  Excellent food. Fish is great. Reasonable prices. Service was very quick. Even chucked in a small freebie.  We'll be coming back.

Can’t really give an honest review as I’ve not managed to try the food yet. Tried 3 times after being turned away with them having set times selling Chinese food. The time I went in and it was the right day for Chinese food I waited 40 mins in the queue to be told they’d finished making Chinese again. They literally pick and choose when they make certain dishes and seem to be happy turning business away. They could at least put a sign up when they decide to stop making anything but chips. Not trying again

Food from here has gone way down hill over the past few years! Chips are half cooked if even cooked at all, sausage is a mushy mess! Only good thing was the curry but even that might give you the squirts  definitely better chippy’s out there! Sorry!

Used to be such a good chippy. Last few times I’ve been it’s been average but tonight it was awful. Chips were cold and hard and tasted like they had been reheated from yesterday. Left most of it. Won’t be going back in a hurry.Food: 1/5

I live in London now but from Bolton and whenever I come home this is one of the first places I grab something to eat. Amazing chippy chips and nice staff.

Had the beef curry rice with 2 sausages, wife, had fish, chips & curry. Very generous portions, I'm having the other half next day, you really get that much, the rice & curry divine. Staff are super nice, frendly, really hard workers & are a credit to their customers. this is our new to go chippy, super highly recommended.  Cash only - no  Cards

Always a long queue outside, Always a Good sign. Great food at resemble prices. Chips and Fish, sausages, pies, 1/2 chicken, mushy peas, curry and gravy. Chinese dishes served are made fresh and quickly.  Parking: Quite limited, on the corner.  Kid-friendliness: Its a takeaway. Long queue.
