What a little gem of a golf course! We visited on a lovely day and I had a lesson with Charlie, who was an excellent teacher, and made me feel at ease. The course has a family atmosphere to it, not intimidating like other places. The little cafe has a beautiful setting and a nice selection of dishes. Shame you're an hour away from is, hopefully we can visit soon!
Absolutely a great place for a round of golf. It's a small 9 hole. If you are a long hitter this is mainly for your short game. The people who run it are very friendly. And the coaches are very good. Go here if you just want a to have a 2 hour round. Great fun! The members are very fun to play with. And it is quite cheap.
Been there twice now, beginner's course ideal, friendly, but what I didn't like, bar is only open till 2pm so if you want food after golf, make sure you finished your round well b4 2pm otherwise your be hungry & the main thing I didn't like is being a short course tee times every 10 mins so if your a 4 ball you mite have a 1 ball behind you hurrying you up then you get the boss at the end saying what took ya slow play, yea right don't like being hurried when I payed good money to play a nice relaxing round of golf we are not slow by any means bloody one ball twice this happened.
First time back at this course for a few years. Remember starting playing 'bank holiday' golf here, when the trees were only a few feet high. Lovely club house and today was a junior event and it was brilliant to see so many young people there and participating. Worth a visit to reboot your affection for golf.
Tricky little golf course, plays 18, designed around a 9 hole. No par 5's but lots of par 4's and long ones. T Boxes were difficult to get T pegs into the ground. Lovely and flat course. Such a pretty course to play. Very enjoyable. This was the first time in 20 years of my golfing experiences and I have played many courses...that I have ever seen steps into a bunker !! Luckily I didn't have to use them
Website says open but it's not!? Just drove there from Poole to find everything shut for the day. Please update us our website if you're closing early. Good to let the customer know.
Really nice breakfast and the coffee was very nice, we have been here a few times and it's always good. The cafe / club bar is clean and modern with music in the back ground that lightens the mood. Definitely recommend and will be back.
Beautiful part of Dorset, great course and amazing staff! Brilliant for beginners and lesson's Mike and his team are great. Club house serves some amazing food and great catering for GF diets.
Spent the day watching family members.The staff are pleasant and hard working.The restaurant offers a decent menu and appropriately priced.Offers outside seating and indoor seating.And on a sunny day a pleasant lunchtime eating on the patio and afternoon tea is very pleasant. Wash rooms clean and tidy. I'm not a golfer so can't comment on the course but it looks well kept and very tidy.plenty of car parking.
Nice golf venue, Pro Shop staff were helpful & friendly. Course was popular with golfers and moles alike! Enjoyed my 18 holes. Bar / Clubhouse service wasn’t the best but perhaps just an ‘off day’. Will return for sure.
