This is a regular fortnightly home delivery for us. Great quality food; perhaps a little pricier than take away Indian curries or Chinese, but fresh ingredients and the amazing Thai flavours you hope for. They've recently changed location; from what I'd been told, the old location was out of the way, cold in winter & lacking a bit of character. Not tried dining in yet, but the new location looks good to me. On the basis of the food, well worth a visit, but be warned, if they say a curry's hot, it will be! Ask them to tone down the heat if you don't want steam from the ears!
The food and service is fantastic. Highly recommended !!! I've only been here for lunch and it's always got a few tables with people. I've yet to visit in the evening but if the food is anything to go by, I'd be very surprised if they weren't packed in the evening. They certainly deserve to be ! The ambiance of the new place they've moved too is very nice too. Wood carvings in the walls and what sounds like Thai pop music. The owner, Su, told me that she also runs classes on Thai cookery too. All in all, I've eaten at a lot of Thai resturants over the last 10 years and this is the best one I've been to.
Food was nice. So its a shame they advertise a lunch menu at £6 and only mention the extra £4 for duck when you pay, showing you a menu with the extra 60% charge scrawled on it wasn't on MY menu. Also the toilets are broken, and unhygienic and they know that because there is a notice about it stuck up with ageing sellotape.
Took my wife here for her birthday. It was early evening on a Sunday, so very few customers in. Food was good, service good and a nice experience. Newbury has a few THai restaurants now, so it is a competitive sector.
Fantastic food. Well worth the slightly above average cost of a meal out. I highly recommend a visit.
What would the world be like without Thai day Fridays? I don't want to find out. I like the Pad Thai. I order it religiously.
Wonderful Thai food best in this area by far!!!
