I attend Church here LCSS on Sundays. Beautiful setting inside. Clean and tidy. Warm and inviting. I'm now thinking of joining the gym and maybe even a ZUMBA class!
Lovely fun splash swimming pool. Lots of floats and balls for the kids to play with
Swimming pools cold, my son was shivering and going blue really fast. Kids diving next to the No Diving sign. Deliberately booked an empty session which still showed only us on the tickets online the session before should have ended but nobody was asked to leave so it was real busy and I got kicked 3 times while heavily pregnant lifeguard honestly didn’t care about altercations I had to ask people to move over, it was busy but there was more than enough room to not be close enough to kick people common decency don’t kick other people especially pregnant people!!! I was standing out of the water cradle long a lot so it was obvious too! Loads of kids seemingly on their own too surely this isn’t the following the rules? I won’t be coming back, awful experience
Kids go swimming here and lessons are fab and reasonably priced.
All you need and instructors if unsure - gym pool squash etc look online for options and booking is best by phone. Four badminton courts in multi sports hall can be booked too as can the other hall uses like basketball netball five a side football etc... The gym is well equipped so loads of machines and weight options. Floor exercise clubs too like yoga and others. Prices fair.
I joined primarily for the gym, but what they don’t tell you when you sign up is that not only can you not really use it in the afternoon because of kids and teens sessions, but that the place is constantly populated by teens. Fine if you are a teen, but as a middle aged adult trying to get fit, it is not a nice environment. I tried going in the evening, at first I had the gym to myself then 3 immature teen boys came in , sat on bikes directly facing me, didn’t use them, and stared at me and swore at each other. We’re done and we cancelled our membership the next day and now setting up a home gym. A decent well equipped private adult gym would clean up in Steyning.
I used this centre as a student who attended Steyning Grammar school between 1989-1991. The centre was newly built and opened in 1990/91 The gymnasium was my favourite place with badminton being close second! It was clean with good service!
Grandson was there to have swimming lessons on a Saturday morning. The pool is a good size and the changing rooms are quite clean. There are squash courts, but I do not know anything else about it. It is not as large as some other leisure centres.
Great swim, lovely pool and friendly too
Good swimming pool, was the only person in the pool for the session, changing rooms a little wet as had just been washed out with hose before I got changed. Need parking disc for the carpark
